Really nice product
I bought this after returning a roller set and I'm so glad I did! The pen is pretty and came in packaging that's sturdy enough I can continue storing it in there. The directions were clear and simple. This one about the cheapest pen I found at $70 and it came with 20 tips. Straight up I will not use the 36 needle tips the more needles in a tip the more pressure you need to puncture your skin and the more likely you are to bruise yourself, this is a case where more is not better. 36 is probably negligible, I've definitely seen higher ones offered but why risk it when replacements are so cheap? The way I figure I have 10 treatments- 20 since I emailed them for the 2 year warranty and they are sending me 10 more of the 12 needle tips- so at $3.50 a treatment for a treatment that costs $3-400 normally, I'm a happy camper. It seems well made and the company was very responsive so I'm comfortable that if something happens in the next 2 years they'll make it right. They have replacement tips for sale now so there's really no drawbacks or reason to buy the more expensive ones. I don't know if the lights make a difference but I was able to get them functioning pretty easily and used the blue light during my and my husband's treatments. I made a mask with rose water and numbing cream that I put on for 25 minutes prior to treatment and it really wasn't painful as all. I cut the mask into sections, wiped the section I was working on off with alcohol and put hyaluronic acid on as a lubricant. Following the treatment a did a second wipe on all of my face with alcohol and did a rose water hyaluronic acid mask for 20 minutes. The picture is after the second mask. It's too early to tell if the treatment will make my skin amazing but the pen works perfectly. I could tell that the needles were adjusting appropriately, the tips were easy to put on and they were secure. I liked that I could use it while it was on the charged because I forgot to charge it up and was still able to use it when I wanted. It also lets me know that when that battery wears out I can still use the pen corded. No complaints whatsoever, very happy with this purchase.

TOTALLY IMPRESSED!
I’ll admit that I was skeptical of ordering because I use to be a laser technician. I am IMPRESSED with this tool!! I use to do a procedure at a Medspa which breaks up connective tissue with needles and charged $800 & up....this is a close comparison! Granted I have a high pain tolerance and love needles...weird, I know. I’d recommend getting a numbing cream, apply to a clean face for about 30 minutes. Wipe off then begin with a section. Invision your face broken up to 4 sections. Start in 1 area, applying pressure and overlapping. You will bleed which is normal. I keep wet gauzes near and once an area is complete, wipe off the blood before it dries. I used the 36 pin in the fatty areas of my face or where I had deep wrinkles. The forehead is a bonier area so use a 12 pin. I also did my neck; how to do this area is by using one finger to push the skin against the tool and go in a pattern. Prior to starting, make sure your hands are sanitized or wear gloves. Once completed, your face will be swollen and become warm, apply an ice pack or wet gauze to cool. After, I used Avene Cicalfate to protect the skin. Do not wear makeup or sweat for at least 48 hours so your skin can heal. Your skin will feel tight, which is also normal. This is well worth $99!! I am so excited to see my results in a few days!!!! I took pictures of what my face during and after and will try to upload if possible.

I am very impressed!!!!!
So, I have very oily skin that my family used to make a joke of frying an omelette on my face during the summer. Of course, I have been suffering acne scars as the result of puberty. I have done a lot of research and tried from topical creams, peeling acids, laser, and microneedling roller. Nothing worked. Last year, after finding a lot of good feedbacks from microneedling (machine), I gave it another try at a medical spa. It was $250 per session and I bought a package of 3 for $700. After 3 sessions, most of my scars were still pretty visible (ofc), but I could notice remarkably smaller pores, much less oily skin, and less discoloration. So I bought another package and continued seeing the improvement. Yet, at meantime I still tried to find something more affordable and came across this product. As I know, the difference between Dr. Pen and this is that you can adjust needle length up to 2.5mm with Dr. Pen, but this product only allows 2mm. Yet, I have pretty good pain tolerance, and I already felt a bit intense with 2mm. Thus, in my personal opinion, you do not need 2.5mm for any treatment purpose. I am very familiar with microneedling and have deep acne scars so that I started off with 2mm at speed control of 4. Yet, if you are doing it the first time, try with 0.25mm. And also depending on your need, you will go with different length. Like if it is for reducing wrinkles, you only need 0.5mm. Moreover, depending on how harsh you do it, like I did it with 2mm for 25 minutes and went over my scars for many times, my face was pretty bleeding at the end and the redness did not go away for 3 following days then my some areas started peeling off. It was not because my skin was dry, it was more of skin regeneration with stimulated production of collagen. So if you do not have a lot of downtime, maybe just go easy with shorter length and shorter session. Also, if you want to have an intense treatment, do not apply strong acidic topical products right after, maybe just collagen or peptide serum. I made a stupid mistake with pure vitamin C and it burned my skin as hell. Hyaluronic acid serum caused a little stinging as well.I have used this product 3 times (4-6 weeks apart between sessions) and so far so good. It is very easy to use and runs smoothly. The improvement is just as good as what I got from medical spa.Highly recommend it !!!
