50 Asco Super Stainless Double Edge Safety Razor Blades

Sometimes these razors would last five shaves for head and face, while other times they would only be good for one shave. I know a razor's spent when it starts pulling and missing large clumps of hair. The Asco would never give me a great shave (I only shave with the grain--3 passes with a sledgehammer slant). BUT I just bought a Merkur Futur adjustable and used the Asco blades, for laughs. I set my Futur on a tame 2.5 and the shave was outstanding. The razor matters, who would have thought that the adjustable would give me a better shave then a slant with the Asco. I'll stick with the feathers in my slant and the Asco in my Futur. I don't get it, but it seems as though specific Safety Razors like specific blades and what works on my face & head may not work on yours. Because the price was so good, I'm not sorry I got them. If you buy them and really don't like them, you can give them to me. I will sincerely be grateful.

Perfectly servicable low cost blade. At this price the Asco Red is a one and done blade for me and a reasonable choice as a daily driver.

Didn't work for me. Too rough. Shark or Lord are better

I am very happy with these blades. I got a sample pack and these were the blades that worked best for me. Better than the Feather blades.The point is that all this is incredibly subjective. What works best for one person will not necessarily work well for someone else.I would recommend a small sample pack and try it out.

No issues with the transaction on my end. I have been buyig samplers for a while and tryig to pick the blade that suites me best. This was my first mass purchase and I'm not as enamored w the blades as i thought i was. But I suppose that's my own fault. Good enough deal for the money.

These are my favorite blades. To each his own. Very surprised to see others do not like them. Ordered them after preferring them in a sampler. I've stuck with them for two years and still love them.

These razors are sharp without leaving cuts everywhere.Highly recommended.

These blades are reasonable value for money. Been using them for a month or so now.They are not super sharp, perhaps a touch duller than a Wilkinson, which does mean they can pull a little. I did not notice they became dull any quicker than other blades I've used.I'll probably continue to use them until I've gone through them, but I don't think I'll buy them again.
