Smart WiFi LED Strip Lights, Lewentech Works with Alexa, Google Home Brighter 5050 LED, 16 Million Colors Phone App Controlled Light Strip for Home, Kitchen, TV, Party, for iOS and Android, 16.4ft

I wanted a voice controllable LED strip to apply accent lighting around the house. This strip of 5050 lights is high quality and includes what looks like a standard IR controller but easily connects to Wifi. Once set up, you can use the Alexa app to control the brightness and color, or perform these actions by voice. Also the strip appears waterproof with a rubber clear diffusion layer.The only downside that I can see is that this strip does not include white LEDs, it mixes the red, green, and blue LEDs to make a warm white, sort of yellow. I have a different strip at home that has both the white and color LEDs on it but is a 5 pin connector instead of 4. So don't use this for regular lighting, it is best for accent color lighting.

We used the original stuff to stick to the wall and almost immediately it fell. Tried to restick and it failed. removed original adhesive and replaced with double-sided tape and it fell again. Tried magnet strips and it fell again. I am going to use command strips next and see. Super disappointing.

I ordered 2 of these, for 2 tweens. One never worked, nothing happened when we plugged it in. Went to the trouble of downloading the app, still didn't work. The other one worked the first day, went to the trouble of sticking it to the wall to line her ceiling. The next day it was shorting out. Would only work if we stood on a chair and tilted the wire or pushed it in a certain way. The colors started going in and out. Only red worked, and that was her least favorite color. Super glitchy. Returned both. Sad tweens are trying another brand, waiting for it to arrive.

These lights are great and easy to install except for the adhesive. We bought both the 32ft and 16ft of these lights to go all the way around the room. The 32 ft version works perfectly and the adhesive is great. The 16 ft version has a different backing which is strange because they are basically the same reels. We ended up having to add additional double sided tape to hold the lights up. If it wasn't for the adhesive, this could be 5 stars. My daughter loves them after we added the tape.

Lights are heavy so they didnt stay up long and as the connecting power supply seemed to be loose had to mess with it to keep on might be me and didnt install it right but im pretty sure i can read well and install many things however it lit the room up well an worked as wanted it to for our daughter's room

Tried to adhere this to the bottom of a desk. It didn’t stay on. I guess I’ll buy some glue or something? Also, I had to re solder the piece that connects the lights to the power. I tried to be careful plugging it in but wasn’t carefull enough.They were pretty cool other than that. Didn’t hook up to WiFi yet.

If i could give this a zero i would!! They do not stick well at all and once they just dried up I put tape on it still terrible. Not very LED very dull. Was extremely frustrating trying to even to get them to turn on. The worst part was when it said you can cut at the line I did and the connecting pieces were terribly would not stick you had to have them in the perfect spot. Overall just a terrible product and will be investing in a better pair. I would also like a refund but it’s all a terrible short piece. DON’T BUY TRUST ME!!!! 😡

Ours didn’t work when we plugged them in. They had some sort of short in the cable so we taped it to where they would work. We hung them and the next day they were on the ground. They’re extremely heavy and not good quality for the price.
