ordered 10 packets, ALL of them were dead yeast. Wasted lots of flour trying to bake bread that had no growth.If you order this, make sure the yeast is active first! take a teaspoon of sugar, a tsp of this yeast, warm water, mix together and let sit for ten minutes. If it doesn't rise significantly, the yeast is dead and you need to get your money back.Of course, I'm two days past the time I can get a refund. Just my luck.

I really like using these. It arrived nicely packaged and the expiration date is up in September of this year. I am sure it will all be used by then. This stuff is great, and if you follow the instructions correctly and a hint more of regular rapid rise yeast to your mix, it will come out great! I used about 1/2 tsp. to this mix and my loaf came out tasty and larger than my previous loaf with out adding to this. Try it, it helps! I will definitely buy more of these when needed! Practically out of date when I received it. Loaves that I made was very good made dough in my bread machine on dough cycle. Excellent rise, smell was wonderful. Texture was wonderful. Just disappointed in shelf life.

I bought this in September. But I first used a packet in late January, about 4 months later. The dough rose very slowly. I checked the other packets. They all expired in October, just a month after purchase. I opened another one and tested it (a teaspoon in warm, not hot water, should foam up). This one barely did anything except cloud the water.Since the return window had closed, I just tossed the other packets.By the way, I'm an experienced baker.

The product arrived on time and in good condition. Looking forward to using it.
