What might be the average electricity consumption incl. using the heater?

Can’t tell not had mine fitted long enough however the tec spec estimates about 23-25 £ per year

Once installed, can loft insulation be positioned around the outside of the heater part or should there be a gap to avoid overheating/allow air flow?

I have the insulation surrounding the heater casing but not covering the wiring. So around it without a gap but not covering it .

Is this worth the money and does it really work?

Worth the money as have no damp or anything in winter plus windows have no water on in mornings . Just a slightly cold on landing under vent from unit . Even no steam on kitchen windows ect when cooking best thing I fitted in my 1930 home
