Selle Royal Respiro Moderate, Unisex Bike Seat with Ventilation Channel for Extra Comfort, Black, One Size

I’ve used this type seat on my mountain bike for several years and it’s still as comfortable as when it was new, so I just bought this one for an excercise bike. I see the reviews for the comfort of this seat are all over the map so it’s worth noting that Selle Royal advertises this Respiro Moderate as being best for a riding position where the rider’s body is at an angle of about 60 degrees above the horizontal, which is about where I ride. They have a similar style called the Respiro Relaxed for sitting more upright and a narrower style called the Respiro Athletic that is intended for a more inclined aerodynamic body position, as well as other wider models. All of these are on Amazon.

For a commuter bike without dropper bars, this is significantly more comfortable! I ordered the dropper bar version by mistake initially, but midway through a shorter 18 mile ride, knew it wouldn't work, so exchanged it for the Moderate.

This very bad for e bike at list , I bought it for my e bike and it’s not comfortable at all , to the point it was unusable!!!!! The worst thing I ever bought!!!

Make sure to read the descriptions on the Selle Royal bike seats carefully. They are sized according to the position you are on the bike. The moderate is perfect for the angle of my upper body on my bike & I use it on my peloton as well. I've been buying this product for over a decade and never had an issue with quality. Ordered the moderate saddle but received the relaxed saddle. And after trying it out for a short 30 minute ride, I really like it and decided to keep it. On longer rides last 1-2 hours, my ass still gets sore. And it does flex a little more than I expected so I worry about longevity. The width is just right for me, there is just enough cushion to be comfortable without being too soft. The nose is narrow enough that it does not hit my thighs while peddling. And of course there is less pressure in perineal area. So far I am fairly happy with it and hope it holds together. But I will keep looking for something more comfortable for longer rides.

Love this seat. Replaced my Brooks with this (after the Brooks wore out). I loved my brooks but you had to worry about iy getting wet and I wore padded shorts. With this seat I can ride 100 miles without padded shorts - just outer shell and underwear. I have this on my Surly LHT touring bike and my Salsa Fargo gravel bike.

The last one of this bike seat, the cover material was still leather, now they use plastic. It's ok, I guess. Comfort feel similar to the older model, but the downgrade to not having a leather seat is a big downgrade.

Of Wow fantastic 😍 I am a avid Brooks leather only saddle guy. However, this saddle came up in a search and seemed worth a try. I mounted it and went for a ride and comfort was instant like the lazyboy of saddles! Will last? Who cares as it is great and works now. I seen some other reviews of complaining people and I can confirm they are wrong! Buy it enjoy it is what I advise and I am a 45 year avid cyclist now age 62 who rides 209 miles a week. 💪😁

I've gone through a few seats and so far this one is the best one I've had at preventing perneal pain. Ventilation actually works too.

Je pratique le vélo pour un usage quotidien. Cela représente 200 km par semaine. Suite à cette achat je n'ai plus aucun problème de mal au fesses ni au coccyx. Très résistant. Aucun signe d'usure apparrent. Excellent rapport qualité/prix.

This is the most comfortable saddle you can get. After trying quite a few, my sitting bones still always got sore after 40-50 km and limited my cycling. And getting on the next day was very uncomfortable. But THIS saddle is wondrous. Even after 80 km there is no discomfort. What a find! I have ordered another two for my other two bikes. Highly recommended.

Ich habe den Sattel nun auf drei Fahrräder montiert. Bis jetzt bin ich voll zufrieden. Ich habe normal immer das Problem, dass mir ein Sattel unten rein drückt und musste den Sattel dann immer leicht mit der Vorderseite nach unten montieren, mit dem nächsten Problem , dass ich dann immer nach vorne Rutsche. Diesen Sattel kann ich jetzt schön waagerecht montieren, und auch nach drei Stunden drückt es mir nicht in die Prostata. Richtig montiert(das ist wichtig, nicht mit der Schnauze nach unten), sitzt der Hintern eigentlich perfekt wie in einer kleinen Mulde, rutsche nicht nach hinten und nicht nach vorne. Ich habe mir noch einen No Name Sattel gekauft für 20 €, der ist auch nicht schlecht aber auf diesem Rutsche ich dann doch hin und her. Da merke ich doch die Feinheiten(von einem Markenprodukt, vielleicht wird da doch mehr getestet), die aber bei einer langen Radtour wichtig sind. Bin froh um alle drei Sättel. Über Langlebigkeit kann ich nicht sagen, ich hoffe sie halten lang. Also ich würde 4,5 Sterne geben. Da 4 Sterne bisschen ungerecht sind, gebe ich doch mal fünf, obwohl meine Meinung eigentlich ist, ein bisschen besser geht immer.
