Good value but you do get what you pay for.
Seems a good vernier. A little sharp around the edges and needed a wipe down to remove manufacturing dust which made it feel a bit scratchy. Once wiped down though it's fine. Not quite as taught as more expensive ones but for sub £30 it seems fine. If you want one for the workshop where fine accuracy is needed I would probably go for Mitutoyo but that's 4 times the cost. IThis one is fine for me as a designer as I can interpret measurements and adjust designs to suit.

why wouldn't you?
Having used a cheaper calliper for a while and not being overly impressed I decided to try a more expensive model.Instantly upon opening you can feel the quality. Feels solid and well made. Have compared accuracy against a very expensive micrometer and at worst was only a 0 .1 mm difference.For sub £30 its great and you get a spare battery and hard plastic case.
