Scruff-A-Luvs Mystery Rescue Pet - Kitten, Puppy or Pony - Ombre

Bought this for a birthday present for my neice, she was very happy with it.

This is a winner with my 5 year old she loves it! We gave it a nice bubble bath in the sink and revealed she had the dog, but, after that I followed another reviewers advice and popped it in the washing machine on a quick 30 wash which I’m very glad I did, then we blowdried it, our little dog looks lovely and fluffy and is very soft and cuddly. I’d recommend this toy.

I bought two of these for my daughters 9 and 4 after they saw a video on YouTube. The quality was not brilliant but didn't expect much more as they were only cheap in comparison to a few. You have to wash them immediately to reveal the animal you have and it is difficult to get them dry after this using only a hair dryer on low heat as the instructions suggest. The glue used to curl them up is difficult to remove and so we ended up putting our in the washing machine to fully remove all the gunk and make it fluffy. Over all a LOT of work for a pretty scruffy looking outcome but kids were happy enough for the 10 seconds they played with them. I have to say though the fur falls out when brushed which I think is pretty silly since its the whole point of the Teddy.

My daughter is delighted with it! But to me it looks like cheap tat (which it obviously is, as do all the other things that delight my 5 year old; lol dolls, kinder eggs etc etc) anyway, it arrives then you have to wash it to open it up, so then she’s dragging around a soggy teddy for the rest of the day. But does it make her happy? Yes.

My daughter used her gift voucher to buy this which see found in her magazine. She was excited to take it into the bath and give it a good clean to get the netting off, followed by a blow dry session! Very happy with her purchase and goes to bed with her every night.

This lit up our 6 yr old Granddaughter’s face on Christmas Day. Had to be opened and go through its detailed preparations to be turned into a full scruff a luv. Was her favourite toy… turned out to be a dragon..

Very well packaged. Comes in a ball to start with. My daughter is 4 and found the bathing part quite fun and got involved with helping me bath it. She was very excited when it unravelled and turned out to be the dog, as she said she wanted the dog or the cat!The drying part is quite time consuming and you have to have a lot of patience to get it fluffy. The comb that comes with the Scruff a Luvs is rubbish and does nothing so I would recommend using a bristle brush or I used my daughters hair brush as its very small so was just the right size!With a LOT of patience I managed to dry the dog and make it quite fluffy as you can see from the pictures. I have no idea why some people in the negative reviews didn't manage to get the fluffiness that I did. It took AGES to dry and even when I thought I had dried it enough with the hair dryer it was still wet so put it in the washing mashine on a spin cycle as recommended in the instructions. The dog is now pretty much dry and quite fluffy. Doesn't look like the advertised pictures but I find that things never do!All in all quite pleased with the product apart from the comb and think its a bit pricey for what it is but my daughter loves hers which she has named Fluffy so that is all that matters to me!

My Daughter absolutely loves scruff a luvs. This was her first one. I really enjoy helping her get them all washed and groomed it's a nice bit of mother and daughter time.She loves watching to see who she gets. These are by far her favourite presents to get. We will be buying alot more.
