Bought many egg slices over the years but this one is the best one l have ever bought its sturdy and l love the way it cuts cleanly and the slices come out in one hold and don’t fall into pieces l also love the way it as two separate cuttings so you can slice for sandwich’s or quarter them for a salad l’v also sliced small cooked baby beetroot into slices which l cooked myself and again a perfect result every time can’t fault it and l would highly recommend it

I was really pleased with this purchase. Good quality strong construction brilliant for eggs and also found it really useful for strawberries and kiwi fruits. I can imagine that this will be part of my kitchen utensils for many years.

Well made looks good

Great for the eggs but not tried it with anything else. At least you have the choice of either sliced or quartered eggs which makes a nice change. Cleaning is quite simple but make sure you get all the wires cleaned and I stand it in the drying rack to make sure all 3 areas get dried to prevent germs. Looks far better than the white version I had. I suppose you only get what you for. I would buy again.

Brilliantly simple and effective

Great egg slicer. It’s very hardy and feels substantial being made of strong metal and hard plastic. The hard plastic support that holds your egg, is very supportive. I use large eggs so it’s a good fit and the egg doesn’t move. I’ve only used the slicing function as that’s why I bought it. The slices are very thin compared to the last two cutters I had, but you can use 2 slices together if needed, however it makes them more delicate. I use them in my CrimpIt wrap so thinner is better. There is no struggles with the wires either so it’s a very clean cut. My last two were cheap plastic. Only the wires were metal, but they weren’t very strong. I’m really pleased with it. The metal seems to be chrome or chrome plated so I’m having to make sure I dry the metal properly and polish it before closing it up and putting it away just to avoid any corrosion. Compared to my last ones which could either dry naturally or a quick wipe over and I knew if they were a bit damp when putting away, they’d be fine. They are not the easiest of things to dry. That’s the only downside and maybe the wires could be placed a little bit wider so the slices are a bit more substantial and not so easy to break. Apart from that I’m very pleased. It’s a great piece of kit.

Wires broke on a freaking strawberry. Had only used it a few times.

I love this egg slicer. It makes cutting eggs for a sandwich or salad so easy snd fast, especially with the variety of blades. I actually love this one so much that my mother bought one as well.
