This is my second unit that I have installed in my home. It was time for an upgrade to 1080P. The older unit worked just fine, I just wanted a little bit better resolution. I will be giving my Son the older still functioning system that is 3 years old to install at his place. It came with 4 cameras that I installed using the same power adapters and mounts that the previous set had. It was a breeze! with the new dreamliner technology for the linking of the weaker signal cameras to the stronger ones loss of signal is a thing of the past. The color and definition is fantastic! Even with the older set some video that I provided to the local police for a crime investigation in the neighborhood was "very good quality" as stated by the investigating officer. With the setup and configuration of the system being so easy I am happy with the knowledge that my property is safer. I do recommend that you visit the manufacturers to learn of the full potential of this system and it's configurations that can be done to it so that you get the full potential of it's operation as your needs may be different than standard settings. Notifications that can be tailored to your needs is one thing that this system excels at as well. It is all in how you want to configure it from the standard setup. This system came with 4 cameras and I have purchased 4 more to max it out at 8 cameras and adding the other 4 was no problem. You don't have to be a tech geek to do it. The instructions are clear and it took less than a minute for each one, I highly recommend this system to anyone that is looking for a surveillance system for their home or business! This is a keeper!

We searched for a good DIY home security system. We read several reviews and consumer report reviews and what other system were being compared to this one. So went choose this one. I'm so glad we did! For the price we received 4 cameras (but can order 4 more) and the system home box. Basically everything you need. The cameras are awesome! True crystal clear images day or night. The app works great! I would highly recommend this security system to anyone! You get a lot for your money, I can view when I'm away from home it's real time video is awesome I can receive alerts directly to my phone also. I have nothing but positive feelings for this system! It's everything advertised and much more! I'm really blown away with the quality with the images and system itself. All packed nice and securely. You will not regret your decision once you have purchased this and install it. The installation took a bit to figure it all out and then done!

I purchased this unit for my neighbor. When I checked the cameras for connectivity, they each had full signal. The house had steel siding. I installed the cameras and ran the power cabled behind the edge of the siding. The cameras worked all day, but at night when people were home from work and on the internet with all of their wireless devices, each camera would loose connection intermittently. I believe the intermittent connectivity was caused by shielding from the steel siding and interference from wireless devices. The DVR was easy to configure and use. I returned the wireless system, and purchased a POE wired system made by xmarto as well. It has worked flawlessly since installation. Good night vision. Intuitive DVR operation. Did not need the instructions. I recommend getting a wireless mouse if you don't want to connect it to the internet to control from a Smart Phone.

Just set this system up and it was So Friggin' Easy!Everything is plug and play and works perfectly. We set the camera's up around our two acres and the pictures are absolutely fantastic. Now we can sit inside, switch the HDMI input on our TV and see the whole yard.IF this unit continues to work as is, It Is Well Worth Every Penny.UPDATE: The unit is 1 month old and the transformer to the main unit died AND one of the 4 cameras died. Got a new trans for the main unit and up and running again EXCEPT 1 camera is DOA.UPDATE:10-2020--Not a year old and 3 cameras have already died! ALSO, have been trying on and off for a half year to sign onto their site: Doesn't recognize name, or password, etc. etc.Even clicked on send new password and entered the password they sent...still Won't let me log on (TERRIBLE LOG-ON SERVICE)UPDATE 1-2021--STILL can't log onto their site and when it says "Click Here"...goes to page unknown!Also:Every Day, ALL 8 cameras drop their signal at the same time. The 8 cameras are working fine one moment and one second later, 8 blue screens that say in white letters XMARTO. SO, you have to ReBoot the system AT LEAST once a day.UPDATE 5-16-2021--I'm SO FED UP with this thing!<<<It's like owning a boat...It just EATS money!UPDATE 6-30-2021-- Customer Service FINALLY got the unit functioning properly!
