These things are awesome! Had a few plants that stretched more than I expected. Ended up having to knuckle a lot of them. These came in to save the day so I wouldn’t have colas laying all over each other!

These yoyos worked great for holding up and training some very large celebrity tomatoes last year! I would definitely recommend and buy them again. Biggest drawback is that you have to rewind them by hand a lot as the line pops off the retractor often. You might also want to take some sand paper to the hooks as they can be a little rough. All in all, a great product for the price.

Its not a bad product. It works well for what it is. Seems to be fishing line or something similar. The hooks are sturdy enough being plastic. There was one issue though I ran into with this product. It did not want to retract the line back into the unit all that well. I noticed this was the case for over half of the pack. I tried to wind them back up manually, but it did not work out soo well. So they are close to $1 each. At that price they seem like a decent enough deal. They will hold your plants limbs, but could give you some trouble trying to wind the wire back. So if you are willing to possibly deal with that with a few of them I would say they are worth it.

So you forgot to use a trellis by day 14. The bamboo isn't working as planned and you find yourself reading reviews for yoyos on Amazon while your canopy in week 6 is flopping around in every direction. This is the review you have been looking for. Will these support your canopy? Yes.. as good as a trellis would have had you put one up earlier? No.. but they are better than nothing and if your plants are taller than 4 feet also better than bamboo. The line on these is like a strong fishing line and are sturdy. The 2 hooks are plastic and slightly flexible. The line comes out about 5 feet I would say...or least 4.5 feet for sure. You and start from the ceiling or the light fixture and grab two branches per yoyo then you can normally support and few more branches off of those 2 with green twist tie.
