Independent Children
All of THE BOX CAR CHILDREN are excellent. The 4 children have fun, unsupervised adventures. They also do ordinary things such as chores, painting and playing with their dog.

Tradition passed down
I bought these books to read with my 7 year old. I loved boxcar children as a child and am very excited to read them with her. We are on book two and she loves them as well. The books are a good quality and its nice to have them all in a box set.

Sweet read
This is a rather simple adventure read, with four young children who make a home in a box car, as they are orphans. It is an easy read for my 8 year old, but she loves it, and my 5 year old loves listening to it. A good series, easier to read than famous five, almost nothing scary or tricky to navigate for sensitive readers, everyone behaves kindly to each other, siblings get along well together.

Thin pages makes is harder to read
The review is for the quality of the printed material and not the text. We love the series! The pages are so thin that they leave imprints and is sometimes very hard to read if the next page has a picture. Wish the pages they used were not so thin. Unfortunate!
