I assume the scale measures things accurately, but it is very frustrating to use. The buttons are underneath the glass like a touch screen and are barely responsive. I've used one very much like this in the past and it was much easier, not just because the buttons were better but also navigating through the users was very simple and straight forward. With this Roha scale I feel like I have to fight with it to land on my profile number every time. My profile number is 1.

I have purchased this scale 3 weeks ago. At first it was ok but in awhile I noticed that it started going crazy.It lives it's own life and I can't really manage it in the way I want. It randomly shows body fat and muscles % instead of showing my weight. Also when I want to check my weight in kilos it gives me pounds. So to get results in kilos I have to get up on scaled and get off for 3-4 times before the scale decides it's time to show my weight in kilos. The same thing with pounds- if I want to see my weight in pounds it starts showing me my age and height and body fat %.Do not recommend. UPDATE: so after I posted this review ROHA customer support Mike Dillard e-mailed me and said that they shipped a replacement for these for me-never happened! I never got a replacement and now it's too late to return this item. So I didn't get that, what was that about? Tricking people into changing reviews or something?

I am really liking the sleek black, tempered glass design of this bathroom scale. Tempered glass is known to be about 4 times stronger than regular glass so it's less likely to break or crack. I know that a lot of cell phone covers are made from tempered glass because they are considered shatter resistant. Not shatter-proof, yet less likely to shatter on impact. I recently reviewed a different bathroom scale that was similar to this one as far as function goes, yet it was made of bamboo and I actually prefer this tempered glass scale due to its sleek, elegant design.This particular scale is powered by 2 AAA batteries (not included) which I really like because it's a whole lot easier to replace AAA batteries than it is to replace button cell batteries. Trust me, I had to go to a jewelry store to replace the last button cell batteries I had go dead on me. Although it's not impossible, it's still inconvenient. I'm all about convenience which is why I do the majority of my shopping online as that's way more convenient for me.The ROHA scale can track the health stats for your entire family. Okay, it's actually up to 12 people, so unless you have more than that, then you only need one scale. It's very easy to set the initial data for each user as well. It will track your weight (both kg and lb), body fat, body water, muscle and bone mass. It's also good to know that it's sensitive enough to track how your weight fluctuates throughout the day. I usually just weigh myself first thing in the morning because I heard many years ago that is the best time to weigh yourself. Yet it's good to know I can monitor throughout the day as well in case I ever have to do this. **SIDE NOTE: The product description states it stores up to 8 users yet the user manual states up to 12. Scale seems to work fine so far, but the battery cover does not stay on. Makes me wonder where else the manufacturer cut corners. It's not a very expensive scale compared to others, so I guess this is par for the course.

worked for maybe month then nothing.

Not too long ago I reviewed a pretty disappointing bathroom scale. ROHA, Inc. sent me one around that same time and while it does almost all the same functions, it's a vastly better product. And with it, I learned the difference between a product that overpromises and underdelivers, and one that does what it says it will, and not a bit more. Let's go over this nifty little number, shall we?So here it is: A scale that just measures what matters and doesn't concern itself with a bunch of extra bells and whistles. Weight, body fat, body water, muscle & bone mass, and it looks pretty sharp doing it, with it's tempered glass surface and stainless steel panels. It also sports a large, bright backlit LCD panel that's easy to read. I stumbled a bit programming it, because it can be used by up to 8 different people, and the touch panel controls are not as user intuitive as some I've used. There's no need to manually switch users, because like most better scales it recognizes the user by weight. Which is pretty awesome unless you lose (or heaven forbid, gain) a bunch of weight. But that's not going to happen in this house. Both Hubby and I found it to be accurate on several different floors, and to the pound with our high-end Ozeri scale. Oh, and how awesome is it when a company includes batteries? I love that so much! And it only takes 2 AAA batteries. Nice.ROHA, Inc. is also willing to stand behind their product for 90 days. I would really like to see a year, as seems to be the standard for these products, but they promise 100% Satisfaction, or your money back in that time, so you should find any defects well inside that time.
