they call them dead cats My live cat enjoyed it until I retrieved it.Over all good value - did a decent job on my H1n as part on my light weight run and gun set up

Ok on a budget but pass in this if you can.
This dead cat does not perform well in heven medium wind and it is just too big. If it's anywhere near the camera, the strands block the lens. The size is awkward and the hairs are constantly falling out. It's covers all of the top controls and input/output jacks. If you direly need one, grab this. Understand, though, that you will soon need a more practical one. Chip in the loot, get a better one. Pass on this one.

Fur falling out from first day - windscreen alopecia
The furry bit began shedding all over the place from the moment I pulled it from it's packaging, had not even made it into real use yet. I don't expect a product this cheap to last forever, but I don't think it's unreasonable for a customer to want their furry to last a while before developing alopecia.The foam microphone windscreen arrived vacuum packed and totally squished, no problem, just ran it under cold water and let it dry, regained its shape perfectly in under an hour.All in all I'd look for a different brand, even if the furry had not been going bald, the fur was much too long anyway.

Shipped flat in a vacuum. Out of shape. Disappointed
I bought (48) of these. They are the right size, but shipped in a vacuum package, all of the air sucked out and flat. Then never come back to shape. Ugly smashed look. Arguably effects the desire of the foam on the mic capsule.
