I’m in love with my beautiful gold heart locket I purchased from Lifetime Jewelry. Everything is spot on to a solid gold locket. The color & luster of the gold, the feel, the engraved design & the weight are perfect. I love that one side of the heart is engraved with an ornate design & the other side is high polish shine. It’s like having 2 different heart lockets. Also, the chain is beautiful with a lobster claw clasp & the bale is large enough to wear on any chain you have. I bought 2 necklesses both of our mothers (one each) and find it to be exactly as described. It looks both elegant and very well made. I inserted pictures of passed family members and made it so much special to wear. The seller claims that “the chain it will never get dark or discoulors” tine will tell, but as of now I bought a product that has brought happiness to my mother and my mother in-law at a very affordable price. The heart hinge its well constructed and better quality I expected, the gold plate it makes it look as a piece of gold jewelry around the neck at an affordable price. I do recommend this product and the seller as well. Very attentive service with customer service follow-up.

I really like this locket, but putting a picture inside was a pain and I never got the lifetime guarantee because the official website didn’t recognize my order number from Amazon for some reason. It arrived sometime early this year, I think late January or early February, and it’s held up well so far. The color is just as shiny and I wear it daily. The chain and locket match and the locket is removable from the chain because the connecting hoop is big enough to go over the end link on the chain, so I switched it to face the other way so I can lock the clasp with my dominant hand. Overall a great anniversary gift to have a matching pair!

This is a perfect locket for a kid (just the right size and not too expensive in the event it is broken or lost). My 6 year old daughter loves this locket. It was her favorite Christmas gift this year (yes, even more so than all the toys she received). I will say that it was not easy getting the picture sized correctly. I tried with numerous picture copies and butchered a bunch before I finally got it right. A simple solution would be for the manufacturer (Lifetime Jewelry) to include a paper locket template with each locket. Then you'd know exactly how big to cut the photo. Without a template provided, it was hit and miss. I used Microsoft Word to draw a heart and then I stretched it slightly in Word. Then I made a bunch of hearts all different sizes and printed them up on my printer. I cut a bunch out, fiddled around with various sizes, reprinted, re-stretched, reprinted again, and finally got a heart template that was fairly close to what I needed. Then I butchered about seven photos before I finally succeeded. I spent about 3 hours - no joke! - trying to fit the picture(s) properly. Oh, how a template provided with the locket would have made my life so much easier! Nevertheless, the locket is pretty and looks really nice with a black and white photo (two actually - one in each side of the locket). It also would look okay with Sepia, but I liked black and white better. Color looked pretty good too when I held it up to the various photos I ordered online. The chain is sturdy and already held up to a classmate tugging on it really hard to try to look at the photos inside. The clasp is not too difficult and my daughter can even unhook it herself (still needs help putting it on). The locket closes snugly and stays shut. You need a little bit of fingernail length to get the locket open.

Our granddaughter asked for a locket with our photos in...odd request from a 5 year old. However we thought it might be a very sentimental gift for her. After much searching we bought this one. I'm glad we did. It is not to big for her but not to small that she could not wear it as an adult. The detail of the scroll work is very good. It was a little hard getting our photos shrunk enough to fit in but it finally came together. She absolutely loves it. She wears it for church and now the first day of school and it has survived all the recess play! It's an old fashioned gift with plenty of charm.

I ordered the locket only and was very happy with its size and quality. The scrolling on the front enhances it's beauty. This was purchased as a Christmas gift for my nine-year old granddaughter, who had no trouble opening and closing the locket. She was thrilled to receive it and loved how beautiful it is; looking forward to the treasured pictures she will put inside of it. I'm thrilled that it is made here in the US and has a great warranty, too. Good beauty, quality, and a company that I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone.

If you are allergic to nickel, do not buy this necklace. I would attach a picture of my neck and chest, but I don't think anyone wants to see it. If you do not have a nickel allergy, this necklace is gorgeous. Unfortunately, I have to return it.
