It’s great if you combine it with the electrolytes from the same company that I have in the picture. On its own it tastes a bit bitter but with the grape electrolytes it tastes great. It mixes well if you give it a hard enough shake and I get the caffeine boost I need without having to brew coffee. Good value for money because a little goes a long way. It’s easy to use once you dig out the tiny scoop and haven’t had any side effects personally.

After spending $$$ on energy drinks and chews, found this. Works quickly and doesn't make you crash. Vrye economical as well. Only downside is the taste - yeech. I just mix it with a little water, gulp it down and have something handy to take the taste away.

Tried it today for the first time. Took one scoop, which contains 220 mg of caffeine, and took 400 mg of L-theanine along with it. Felt great, and after four hours I took more. Too much more. Another whole scoop. Not recommended at all. Went from close to a perfect state of mind and energy to truly awful. I guess I was thinking it might be twice as good. Or, "If this much is this good, more could be even better. Maybe even much better..... It'll be fantastic!" It wasn't. It wasn't remotely close. It was on the other end of the spectrum, including headaches, nausea, irritability, dysfunctionality, and a busily chaotic mind It would have been much better to have started with maybe a quarter scoop, then upped it a little at a time. Maybe just being patient, and trying half a scoop the next time, and increase by a quarter scoop if desired. Increasing by a whole scoop was a huge mistake. An update, after months of additional use: I just wanted to add that I have compared taking this guarana powder with taking Nutricost caffeine capsules, and have found the caffeine capsules to be "cleaner" in the following way: the guarana (in the right amount) is fine for the first six to eight hours, but then there is a "comedown phase" that is slightly unpleasant. There is a subtle undercurrent of mild nausea and depressiveness. With the caffeine, this doesn't happen (Nutricost caffeine plus their L-theanine and L-citrulline. I have usually been combining both the caffeine and the guarana with L-theanine and L-citrulline, which definitely smooths out the experience). The caffeine is cleaner. No aftereffects. Cleaner and brighter. You can test and compare for yourself, and get a sense of what works best for you.

I was looking for an alternative to energy drinks. As most people in the comments have said, on its own it is bitter, but mixed with electrolytes it is amazing. It is significantly cheaper than most products and will last you a long time. One scoop is worth two cups of coffee and there is little to no crash. I will definitely continue using and recommending this product.

I make my own pre-workouts and use caffeine as one of the ingredients. I've been upping my dosage to about 300mg and its been giving me anxiety and a hard crash. I like to feel a strong kick from the caffeine to get my workouts started, so I was a little skeptical if this Guarana extract would have the same effect. I don't feel a kick but I definitely feel more energized for my workouts. I'm also able to workout longer since the effects last all day. I've been using it for a few weeks now and ended up liking it so much I added it to my subscribe & save. I use Nutricost for all my supplements because it has the best value for the money.

A little background: I am sensitive to caffeine and tightly control how much I consume. For that reason I usually use caffeine sources with known concentrations like tablets or gelcaps. I tried this guarana powder because some reviews said it's not as jittery or nervous as caffeine extracts. For me, the effect is no different than a straight caffeine tablet other than the price is about 5x higher and the onset marginally slower. It's bitter, yes, because it's full of caffeine that is bitter. There's no way around that. I found that getting a mouthful of water and pouring a scoop on top of that and swallowing it quickly minimized the bitter taste. Mixing it with something flavorful would probably mask most or all of that. I already use Nutricost 200mg caffeine gelcaps and those are a better value in my opinion.

I bought this back in march 10, 2025 - not really sure if something about the batch at that point in time or maybe just don't have the tolerance... for context, i regularly drink 2 cups of bold kcup coffee, so now that i found this stored in the closet from a year ago, in mixing 1 cup with the 1 gram of this, it absolutely keeps me awake for 24 hours. In fact i think it even gets rid of the coffee jitters, but this stuff is no joke when it comes to keeping me wide awake and focused. Even vibe coding runs out of tokens across 5 ai accounts.

Es excelente, te da energía al instante lo combino con un poco de café y azúcar, viene con un pequeño dosificador de 1 gramo, no necesitas mucho para despertar bien,, lo súper recomiendo.

Es dificil mezclarlo con agua... Es mejor mezclarlo con liquidos mas grasosos como leche funciona mejor. Es casi imperseptible en sabor pero te deja una sensacion polvosa en la parte de atras de la garganta cuando no usas leche. El efecto de la cafeina es mas potente que en una bebida energetica pero la tolerancia y efectividad de la misma es diferente en cada persona. Pero... Si funciona.

Es un buen producto!
