It gives great traction in bathtub even when it's soapy and wet, but I don't know if it holds up long, I bought it approx 2 months ago, it is still fine.

Will this work on grab bars in the bathroom?

I don't see any reason why not, providing the grab bars have a smooth surface for application. Tape worked well on the smooth floor of a fiberglass shower floor. I believe the application instructions state to thoroughly clean the mounting surface, making sure it's clean & dry before applying the tape. I used 99% isopropyl alcohol on the surface. Isopropyl alcohol aids in getting water off of the application surface.

How many feet are in each roll?

The roll I bought was 30' x 2", so 30 feet long and two inches wide.
