iPhone 4s Case, SCENG Aluminum Shockproof Dustproof Waterproof Gorilla Glass Metal Case Cover for iPhone 4 / 4S

I purchased this case because of the enviroment I work in and the protection it provides. Needless to say, it delivered in a big way. This thing is built like a tank. Its VERY heavy, waterproof, dust proof, and shock proof. Aside from beating it repeatedly with a hammer, Im not sure what it would take to actually damage the phone if it was in this case. It does have some cons though... Like I said, its heavy. So heavy in fact, that you almost need to be wearing a belt if you plan to carry it in you're pocket. Its also difficult to plug the charger in because the phone sits so deep inside the case. The HOME button also likes to work its way down into the case, but Ive found that a few seconds with a tooth pick will pop it back into place most of the time. All in all, Im very happy with this case and would suggest it to anyone looking for some serious protection and killer good looks.

I love it for the readability but not even close to water proof.. In fact if even a little bit of water gets on the case you have to take it completely apart in order for it to work. the gorilla glass will not work if it has any moisture.

I purchased four of these cases, one for each of my children, myself and my husband. When we first received the cases we tried everything to break them, testing to see if they could withstand the abuses that would occur with a severally autistic child during daily use. We were indeed very pleased that we were unable to break, even dent the cases. And then my husband simply dropped his phone by accident and the gorrilla glass in the case shattered, glass everywhere. Next my son dropped his sister's phone with the same result. I gave my husband my un used case to use and Less then a week later he dropped it one time, it too shattered. Funny that when we " tested" the cases we found them "indestructible" and then to have three out of four shatter from a simple little drop not even a great distance as each were dropped no more then a foot or two from the ground. I'm very disappointed to have to now replace three cases in less then four months after they were purchased , and of course it's past the return date otherwise I would surely return all four cases.

After reading ALOT of review about this case i bought it... finally got it today and put it through some test. The case itself's quality is slighty above average. The weight of it is awesome, i read alot about people's signal being killed from the case and i can say that it didnt effect my signal at all and i live out in the mountains where there arent very many towers, still get 5 bars. The only complaint i have with the case is the home button, its very poorly made. Everything else about the case is awesome!!^_^

You have to have a small allen wrench to open the case and insert your phone so I bought a flip out pack from the hardware store and now I have all the sizes I my need for other jobs in the future. It was an easy installation after that and it works great! I had two other kinds of covers that came from Verizon but this is the best and way less expensive being resistant to water and resistant to dropping the cell phone. Great product.

The case looks like what was discribed. Love the cushioning protection of this case. iPhone in armour! Peace of mind, if your phone ever drops there is nothing to worry about. One thing to note is, the screw in the top left corner of the case is not to be tighten if you plan on using the 3.5mm headset jack. Perfect size for my palm. Easier to touch the buttons in bottom left corner of the screen.

Took mountains of abuse and even after it finally failed the iphone came out unharmed. If you have a child that throws things and is generally abusive of their things this is the case for their phone. Only two drawbacks it is heavy and the mute key can be tricky found you have to press the rubber side in before attempting to toggle the mute seemed to make the process easier.

It's big, heavy and bulky but a good case to protect your phone. My kid liked it at first but the plastic screen in front made it a little difficult for him to use the screen as easy as before. It's still a great case for protection though. The color finish does come off quite easily but that was expected from the other reviewers.
