FODMAP DIET
Very good at explaining the foods and their FODMAP content on a scale of how much is in it and serving size.

My new favorite cookbook!
Just got this cookbook and I am SO excited to try pretty much ALL of the recipes. The pictures are beautiful and artistic. The recipes are interesting and look flavorful. The ingredient lists are not overwhelming. I am a "once a month" or so cook (ie quick simple kid friendly meals on week nights). I see lots of special recipes for weekend meals (lamb curry! Beef satay with peanut sauce, cheese and olive polenta) and basics to fold into our weeknight dinners (carrot ginger soup, penne w meatballs even a spanish meatloaf). The dessert section is big (39 dessert recipes from cookies to panne cotte). Can't wait to dig in!

but I'm convinced this is an excellent diet for me
When I started cooking these recipes, I rediscovered that eating could be enjoyable and pain free. I have gastroparesis and SIBO, and this book has been a valuable tool to help my condition. Most of the recipes are very flavorful because you use fresh spices, veggies, or fruits. It's take planning and careful shopping (really read the labels!), but I'm convinced this is an excellent diet for me.

Not helpful for anti-inflammatory diet
It has great recipes but I was looking something that would help me with a more anti-inflammatory approach as well ( no meat, no dairy, no eggs) and almost all the recipes included foods y wanted to avoid

Starting low fodmap diet this month. My new dietitian owns this book and after reading the intro and informative beginning (which, btw, I've never been able to finish reading in any other cookbook) and skimming through the recipes, I believe this will be worth it's weight in gold for me on this journey. I have Crohn's and am "in remission" but that's a joke because I still struggle daily with symptoms. My GI is saying remission because my blood tests and colonoscopy show no current inflammation but I suffer daily from gas and diarrhea - this can NOT be as good as it gets. Now more than ever I'm trying to get very serious about the food I put in my body. This cookbook actually made me feel much less anxiety about starting this process.

This book was is full of many wonderful Low FODMAP Recipes
This book was is full of many wonderful Low FODMAP Recipes. It is neatly organized with an explanation of the diet in the beginning. I have tried a few of the recipes and love what I have done so far. I do wish that there were more pictures. To me the picture is part of what draws me to trying the recipe in the first place. I do not feel like the recipes are too involved. Trying different recipes from this book has allowed me to be able to become more familiar with low FODMAP ingredients and be able to experiment with recipes of my own. There seems to be a lot of use of cornstarch which from a Paleo Background, I feel is too much. I have been replacing this with another thickening ingredient and it has been fine.

These recipes will help!
My fiancé and I have used many recipes in here so far and o just wanted to say that they are excellent! Some of them aren't hard and some are very challenging (the risotto). All the ones I have tried though have been delicious and help my body feel good after eating it. My fiancé suffers from IBS so we have had to adapt to a new lifestyle, taking out bad eating habits as much as possible. This book will help!

Great soulfood recipes to enjoy making food again that you can eat.
Great soulfood recipes to enjoy making food again that you can eat. The author knows everything about the diet because she invented it, so that helps technically. Recipe-wise this is the kind of food that you can without shame serve up to your mother-in-law and she will ask for the recipe. I've enjoyed all of the recipes from this book I made so far.

but other than that it seems like a great book for someone who is trying to ...
I have IBS so I wanted to explore some options. So far I`ve only tried one recipe, but it was quite yummy. There are a lot of very simple recipes as seems to be the trend with recipes for IBS sufferers, but they seem promising nonetheless. I think I was hoping for a bit more ingenuity which this book is lacking a bit, I don`t know if it`s because of the nature of the recipes or the authors lack of imagination, but other than that it seems like a great book for someone who is trying to manage their IBS.
