Very nice quality for the money, duvet cover. Thread count is perfect, doesn't snag, even with my cat sleeping on it and trying her best to do just that. Doesn't add extra weight to my down comforter, which fits perfect, no problem with the comforter staying in place, even w/o corner ties. The colors are beige pattern with a cream color background. Some where I read description or a review that background was white, but it is not, which is just fine with me. The king size shams that come with it are envelope style and look very nice also. I also got a off white ruffled bedskirt from amazon and have it on bed with it....perfect!! I am very glad I ordered this, I had been searching for a month and always came back to this one.

UPDATE: 2/26/17Oh, I am so disappointed that I had to come back and update my review. I have now washed this a couple of times on gentle cycle, by itself with cool water. I followed drying instructions. This beautiful duvet cover now looks like it is years old. :( (see pics)In the past I've used quilts. I still have them and one in particular has been washed more than 40 times over a 5 year period. It looks beautiful still. I'm not encouraged that this duvet cover hasn't held up well after just a couple of washes. As a result I have to give this a 1 star (down from the original 5 star review). 😔ORIG Review: Would it be appropriate to let out a little moan and a sigh in a review for this bedding? A month or so ago I had had enough! My bed was uncomfortable, I was always hot or cold and tossing and turning kept me up all night. I set out on a mission to make my very expensive bed better. I ordered a duvet, duvet cover, 3" pad and a new pillow in one sweep.This duvet is absolutely beautiful. Well made and so comfortable! Here in SC we have had bizarre weather- in the teens one night and in the 70's the next. I've been pleasantly surprised at how well the duvet works for both.I love the pattern too! It goes with so much! Planning on getting the matching sheets next!

Very pretty, but loosely stitched together. Also, I had to sew buttons in all 4 corners to anchor the cover with the insert. It washed up ok, but I was concerned initially because of the loose stitching. I put it in the dryer long enough to fluff up and release the wrinkles.

Very Pretty duvet cover! Also, very soft. However, it wrinkles a little more than I would like it too. Even after I iron it, it still wrinkles up on the bed which is a little frustrating. Would not recommend it if that annoys you like it does me. My husband on the other hand, could care less that it wrinkles, that is why I went with the 3 stars.

I love it! My only complaint is that the buttons don't stay closed which can be annoying because our feet get stuck in the pocket. But the color and pattern is perfect.

Provides a nice clean look (but a little un exciting). Be sure to complement with colorful pillows or throws. Good quality, easy to use and wash.

Item not as advertised as only came with one sham and not two. The quality is poor and material is very thin. Consequently the item has been returned at considerable cost. £27.95, an expensive lesson for a pensioner. So buyer beware.

This duvet cover is very soft and pretty but colour in the photo looks like the background is white and it’s not, it’s beige and then the taupe floral design. I have included a photo with it against a white pillow so the colour is true. The cover also has no buttons or ties to attach the duvet to keep it from shifting, I would have expected a brand such as this and considering cost that it would be a basic feature for a duvet cover.

The duvet cover is soft cotton in a nice print, but it is thin and needs to be ironed.

It is nothing like Egyptian cotton and it doesn’t feel like cotton at all!
