I bought this for the worlds best cake recipe and also because of my Norwegian heritage. All of the recipes look great, however I was hoping to find a few more that I recall my grandmother and great aunts making—particularly some of their delicious cookies! I’m not interested in crafting, so I would have preferred to have it omitted from the recipe book. I especially enjoyed Sweet Paul’s personal stories throughout the book.

This is a lovely book. The photos are clear as are the instructions. All the crafts and recipes are straight forward Only giving a three star because there is nothing which blows me away.

I haven't felt this way about a cookbook in forever. Or have I ever? It arrived today and as soon as I started pouring its creative, inspiring, adorable, wonderful, enticing pages I became a #fanforever. The recipes sound amazing and the projects cool, cute and definitely now on my to-do list. Sweet Paul is truly sweet ... this book oozes sweetness.

I think this book could inspire some great cooking and crafts even if you don’t want to do exactly what he did.

I simply enjoy the recipes and his storytelling about his family. I gave a copy as a gift to a friend and she loves his style of cooking as well as the stories he shares.
