What is the depth of Mary’s robe?

Mary is 12.5" tall, and about 10" wide at the base. She is kneeling, with her feet out behind her. Their clothing is not entirely rigid. It's stiff cloth, as in heavily starched or treated with something, so it can be moved and molded a bit if you're concerned about how it will fit in a certain space. If they're the right size for you, it is a lovely nativity.

So if I want to buy other pieces to match up with these three pieces, should I search and buy 17 inch scale pieces ?

Yes, I think so, it gives visual harmony, if you can say that.
