I ended up phoning Makita DUX60Z to check that this was compatible and they confirmed it was fine. Purchased and have used on several occasions with great success. Makes like work of overgrown plant growth and worth every penny.

Excellent cutting of brambles and long grass/weeds

I bought this as per one reviewer saying it worked with his DUX60Z. I either received a wrong product, even though the packaging matches the blade inside, both which are different from Amazon photo or the Amazon photo and the product code are not correct. I received a 230mm blade with no notch in the bore. In the DUX60Z manual the blade bore has a notch. The bore in the product I received was 25.4mm but it was way too big for my DUX60Z with EM404MP. Unfortunately it seems that other resellers have copied this photo and used in on their website with this product code without checking. AFAIK I need a (max) 230mm blade with 20mm bore to work with my EM404MP attachment. Unfortunately they seem to be like a unicorn. Makita's own UK website or the manual has no details of the product codes of the blades that would fit the EM404MP, in fact the main website is very poor and often lacking even basic technical specs. Poor show, Makita! EDIT: After talking with another Makita dealer, despite the ME404MP is sold in the UK, there are no metal blades available for it and the more common attachment is ME408MP which takes the 25.4mm bore blade (with a notch). I've since returned the ME404MP and ordered ME408MP which was very difficult to find at the time of the writing due to supply issues.

Für alle die sich fragen, kann ich das an meinen Akkubetriebenen Trimmer packen? Ja, das ist offizielles Zubehör für die Elektrotrimmer DUR190 und DUR191, wie auch auf der Website von Makita zu sehen. Das Ding ist super, man schnetzelt damit auch durch meterhohes Gras wunderbar. Wie bei einem Rasenmähermesser sind die Kanten nicht scharf, man kann sich also im Stillstand nicht daran verletzen, allein über die Geschwindigkeit erzielt das seine Trimmleistung. (Auf Stufe 3 macht das Ding daher auch mehr Freude, als auf der 1.) Das gelieferte Produkt hat tatsächlich nicht diese Einkerbung, wie sie auf dem Bild zu sehen ist, das ist aber völlig irrelevant, da sich auf der Unterseite eine Vertiefung befindet, die genau auf eine Abstufung im Trägerteller des Trimmers passt. Somit ist die Scheibe lateral gesichert, und in Richtung der Drehachse sichern Gleitteller und Mutter. Völlig unverständlich, dass sich einige hier beschweren, dass nun keine Mutter dabei wäre. Dafür ist schließlich das Umbauset 191W97-9 da! In dem ist auch ein Gleitteller, der das Trimmen sicher und angenehm macht (so rammt man die Mutter nicht in den Boden). Von den Scheiben gibt es mehrere verschiedene Arten, da braucht man nicht jedes mal eine neue Mutter. Insofern: Hier passt alles.

Einfach nur klasse, benutze es auf einem Trimmen von Makita. Wenn ich zu faul für die heckenschere bin, schneide ich damit auch die hecke. Oder kleine Äste. Sehr robuster stahl mit gutem schliff

Alles gut Aber warum schaffen die es nicht die passende Schraube für den passenden Gerät mit zu liefern? Ich habe extra diese Zubehör gekauft, hat aber trotzdem nicht gepasst musste ich rumpuschen Und was war die Getriebe am Arsch?
