Approaching Literature: Reading + Thinking + Writing

Needed this textbook for a class. It's a well-written and organized book with many interesting stories. I think I might have even passed the class, and not gotten super distracted by the world around me (or the contents of the book itself), to the extent that I might have failed it.10/10 stars, would read again. 8)

Book is good condition.

My problem with this book is that there are two 4th Editions with the same cover art, and some of the stories are different. I got the wrong 4th edition for my son's class, so now we have to get the other 4th Edition. I understand that the authors want to make a lot of money by publishing a new edition every year, so students can't sell their used book, but this is ridiculous. At least change the edition number and the cover art if you are going to change the content.

How is it possible that a book about literature can be so bad at proper comma usage that you have to read a sentence 3 times to understand what it says?Also "brain clustering" (i.e. mind mapping) sounds like something out of Joe vs. the Volcano. Why not just use the standard term "mind mapping" instead of using a term limited to the work of a small number of authors?

The description indicated that this book was on very good shape, well that wasn’t true. This book is in horrible condition! Not worth the money!!
