I love pasta, but really don't like eating heavy carbs. The Natural Heaven Angel Hair "Pasta" is a very good alternative and is a snap to make. The product really takes on the flavor of whatever it is topped with, so I don't feel like I'm missing out. The first time I used it, I just poured boiling water over it to heat, drained and served - it was very good. The second time, I made my husband the usual whole wheat penne pasta and when draining it, poured the pasta water over the hearts of palm noodles and then drained that. I noticed a little bit of difference to the flavor, perhaps it was a little "starchier" and more like pasta., but still light and more "veggie" like. The best part was that my husband noticed that my pasta and his were different and asked why. I told him what mine was and he asked why I didn't serve it to both of us, to which I replied that I wasn't sure if he would like it. He tried a bite (we are not picky eaters, but well...) and he LOVED it. So, I guess this will be on tap for pasta night from now on. It does seem rather expensive for the amount.

The Angel Hair Pasta is a great product. It’s tasty, sustainable, low carb and low calorie which I need. I like the thinner noodles better.

It really isn’t too bad. Definitely not the texture I expected, you can definitely tell it isn’t pasta. However if you’re doing keto, it is a decent meal. Just know it’s going to be a texture thing more than anything else. Kind of crunchy.

Precooked. really very little of flavor. Will require other flavors-garlic, onions and herbs etc. God alternative to wheat noodles.

For years I had been alternating between the low carb black soybean pasta and zuchini noodles whenever I had a craving for pasta. But I've developed a soy allergy and the results if I eat the soy pasta are a day of misery, so I decided to give this palm heart spaghetti a try. Smell is not good. Not gagging bad, but not pleasant. The taste when eaten plain is similar to the smell - not good but not terrible. The taste can be easily hidden with sauce. But the texture is too crunchy to pass for pasta. Will finish what I ordered but will not order again. Ordered palm rice at same time and while smell and taste are simliar to the palm pasta, the rice seems less crunchy and can better pass for rice when covered with a sauce or beans.

Horrible - texture and taste not even close to real pasta.

Hearts of palms is the absolute best rice and pasta substitute ever! Zero points on Weight Watchers and it taste delicious!I love artichokes so I enjoy this. My 14-year-old and 9-year-old are not a huge fan though.
