Purchased this piece several years ago on a surprise flash sale here on Amazon and glad I did. It's a nice sized light weight pot that you can hang from a Solo Tripod, place it on a grill, into the coals directly, or sit it on top of the Solo Titan Stove that matches it perfectly as an option. I like the fact that It offers everything you'd want...1st it's not too small or too big in size and it's light in weight too, made of excellent Stainless Steel which is safe and sturdy, it has a handle loop with a center notch to hang it from that doubles as an additional grip for pouring with a notched stay to keep it in the upright or to either of the side positions, the pour spout is built in to concentrate your hot liquid transfer - very nice, the side handle swings out and intermesh to form a good steady grip, and the lid fits nicely too with a pressed-in friction ring that will keep it there until you pull up on the swiveling built-in insulated finger grip handle on top...the lid grip can lock upright with a slide push into a notch keep there and for storage compaction you just do an opposite nudge back out of the keep to lay it down flat...just be sure to remember to set the grip upright in the keep before heating the pot, cough. Really cool design and top quality from Solo. I'd Recommend the Solo Titan Stove and Tripod rig to go along with you on your many enjoyable outdoor adventures :)

If...you bought a Solo Stove Titan, you will want this pot. The Solo stove is the key, of course, and is most unique for cooking while in the wilderness, back packing, or in survival situations, and the Solo Stoves are unique for their ability to use sustainable sources of fuel... but... you need cookware for the stoves. This pot is designed for the Solo Titan. It is high quality stainless yet light and durable, and the stove fits inside the pot. How neat is that? I have used this pot to make a stew and, of course, boil water and, in combination with Solo's three pot cooking set, I will get along quite well while camping in the woods. This pot is a well designed product, as are all cooking equipment from Solo, and their pots and pans compliment their purpose: survival, camping, back packing, emergencies. As with most things, one element leads to another, so you might also consider purchasing the Solo tripod, which I also love, but you do not have to. A wind screen is also a consideration but, again, not a necessity. This pot works well with the tripod and offers many cooking benefits. In the end, though, Solo products are about freedom, all uniquely designed to provide culinary adventures and choices. I love this pot. It is a pot designed for the outdoors. It is a perfect camping cooking pot.

Get this, that's all I can really say. I was looking for a quality pot that had a lid, folding handles, could hold about 5 cups of coffee-worth of water, and would last when put directly on campfire hot coals. This is exactly that! I've used it to boil water on coals/fire when camping, and it's great. Very packable, comes in a carry pouch. The lid has a small handle that can fold down, as well as the main pot has a folding loop handle that can be hung on a stick when moving the pot to/from a campfire. No need to get your hands close to the fire. There are also 2 handles on the main pot that fold in/out, that can be used to pour the water out of the pot (which has a working pouring mouth/spout). This is the perfect camping pot if you want something that isn't going to take up much space, is practical and tough. The quality of the stainless steel is great! There are even measurements on it if you want that. I took the advice of other folks who recommend covering the outside of the pot with liquid dishwashing soap, and then wrapping tinfoil around the outside of the pot. This combination will really reduce how much soot and blackening occurs, and makes washing it up later a cinch. Overall, I'd highly recommend this pot!!

Great and it even works well with the smallest Solo Stove despite what they tell you. This little guy is great because it's a near perfect all around camp pot. You can hang it from a squirrel cooker with ease, a tripod rig, or pretty much any way you choose and the handles don't take on much heat with the slimmer profile and I think they are aluminum or thin stainless steel, either way they are strong and even in a fire I was able to take this out with boiling water with nothing more than a pair of leather work gloves and not get burnt. The stainless looks good but does take on a lot of carbon from whatever non accelerant method of ignition you use. Gas burners, alcohol burners, will not stain this thing but campfires, and even the solo stove if you're feeling it far material will put a heavy carbon layer on the outside which can get everywhere in your pack.

This is a substantial pot. It's well-made, somewhat heavy, not thin and flimsy, therefore it's probably not for backpacking long-distance. It has both bail and folding handles, for which I was looking. I'm sure it'll be useful long past my camping days (I'm pushing 67). I can 'nest' my little butane stove and other useful camp cooking items inside. It's so nice and shiny-bright that I almost hate to use it. I think it's a little over-priced, and I'd rather it be made in USA or another free country, so I dinged it 1 star. I suppose there's no such thing as perfection.

Obviously, this is the ideal pot to go with the SOLOSTOVE TITAN. The Titan nests perfectly inside this pot, even while in its stuff sack. More than that, though, this an outstanding little camping pot with any stove, or even over the camp fire. It's taller than it is wide, so it works well with any of today's smaller camp stoves. Despite it's stainless steel construction, it's surprisingly light. The fold-out handles and top hanger handle work perfectly. I like the built in pour spout. It works well with or without the lid in place. The lid is simple and functional,and can be used in a pinch for a small dish. Overall, a great piece of kit.

I've had this 1.8L pot for 5 years now, it's gone all across the US, made hundreds of pots of coffee, hundreds of meals, boiled hundreds of liters of water, done all of this either directly in a fire, or sitting on top of a bed of coals. 100% camp fire rated. It's heavy, it's big, it's overbite and bulletproof. The bail handle locks into the 3 of clock, 1w o clock, or 9 o clock positions. The rim of the lid has a perfect pour spout so this covers a tea kettle. The lid lift loop has silicone on it, I've never burned it off, this loop also locks into the 12 o clock position. The measurements are stamped very clearly into the steel, they are very visible inside snd out. As for my maintenance of this pot I've cleaned it in the field usually with a combination of boil water then scrubbing with sand. No special treatment, if it's funky or sticky from coffee or sap from fire wood I'll give it a scotch Brite pad scrub and that's it. I believe twice in five years soap. I lost the bail handle at one point, contacted solo stove for a warranty part, they sent me a whole new pot, so I have two now. My daughter proceeded to find the bail handle in the yard, so it's completely functional. I did bend the bail handle a little tighter so it stays locked into position more. Never had any issues beside the bail popping out the one time. But it has back up handles so no stress, they are typical butterfly wire handles, robust, simple, never had an issue with them. It heats efficiently and evenly. I've used it as a dutch oven to bake stuff in. Using a camp grate you can fit a bagel in there as reference.

The solo stove fits inside of this pot snugly and in the carry case. It is nice quality and the handles fold into place when storing. The handles also stay in place firmly when cooking and make it stable to move and carry. There is also a small notch on the hanging handle to hold it securely on a tripod

Product arrived with defect and deep scratch/crack in bottom of pot but I believe the company will work with me on this. That being said this is a solid pot made of quality stainless steel. The weight and size is perfect for backpacking trips with 1-2 people. It would function well paired with the solo stove or even stand alone for cooking over a fire. The adjustable bail is well thought out and allows you to hang the pot over a fire if required. The handles are sturdy and do not flop around. Construction feels Solid and yet the item is lighter than I expected. This will serve well as an essential backpacking and hunting item for my excursions. I look forward to cooking stews, boiling water, and most importantly, not having to worry about leaching Teflon on aluminum into my food. Spend the money on gear that will last and most importantly make memories and have fun!

ソロストーブの相棒として購入しました。正直、値段が高いので購入までかなり迷いましたが、デザインよし、使い勝手よしでお勧めです。キャンプ用途での購入でしたが、取っ手付きで蓋で湯切りもできるので、自宅でパスタや乾麺をゆでるときに大活躍しています。キャンプだけでは高上りだったかもしれませんが、自宅での使用頻度も考えると値段相応だと思います。軽いし、蓋をすれば、家庭用の手鍋なんかよりずっと早くお湯が沸くのも重宝しています。

The bail handle arrests not upright but a little to the side and the lid does not fit right onto the pot, I need to squeeze it in and can’t take it out one-handed. Also the lid pops with a little pressure. The pot does not sit well on the titan stove either although it has a groove in the bottom which almost matches the top of the stove, but is off a few millimeters. When the handles on the side of the stove are out it gets heavy on one side and the pot will tip off of the stove, but only when the pot is empty. All in all not good quality (-control) for the price, worth 20$ at most.

I bought this after having seen a few reviews on social media. I was specifically looking for alternative ways to cook that didn't need to reply on gas. This seemed to fit the bill on first sight but on looking at the science behind it as well as the quality manufacturing, the efficiency of the "second burn" made tremendous sense to me. The fire is safe enough that US Park Service has apparently started to allow the use of this stove in periods of higher risk, when the ground it dry, such is the efficiency of the burn & the low risk of sparks coming from it. I'm also using this with the PowerPot cooking/charging system so I can recharge batteries for my essentials (GPS/Distress Devices) as I go too - Works a treat. Final benefit is that while gas is quick & easy, when you're on the trail it's a great comfort to be able to see some real flames at night, while you get your food and/or hot drinks ready. So well-made (great quality), a high efficiency 2-phase burn, low risk of spreading fire & the morale boosts make this an easy purchase decision for me - All this & it fits nicely into it's own cook pot too - Flawless

I bought this to use for the Titan, but I'm not finding the stove that useful, so this pot has been used in the kitchen instead. It's good for stuff that needs to be boiled and then kept in the fridge because the handles can be stowed.
