First the good news. One is that the barrel upscrews and rescrews from the front. This means you don't have to remember to put the barrel on the wire before you fasten the banana plug. This is more important than it sounds after you forget to insert the barrel first and then have to take it apart. Second, you can use the banana plug portion without barrel. Now the bad news which kind of makes them useless. First, the diameter of the barrel is too small so unless you are using very thin wires such that we can screw the screws pretty much flush, the barrel will not fit on!! Any wire small enough such that you can screw the barrel on, is too small to use for speakers! Second, the barrel, assuming you can screw it on, is not insulated from the plug. The only way to use this product is by throwing away the barrel and use shrink tubing to cover the screws. Then you can use thick wires and have one insulated from the other.

Ok product except the screws that hold the wires were soft and several of the heads stripped off. Other than that, all ok.

Time saver for my outdoor speakers when a storm is rolling in and I’m in a hurry.... no sound loss. A little corrosion but I expected that, using them outdoors

The screws easily strip out, and the outer casing doesn't screw very tightly to the cheap-ish inner part.They work ok one time, but don't expect to use them again if you need to put then on another set of cables.

Be sure your gage of wire is not too big. These really work well!

One plug was missing a screw, but the package included two spare screws. One plug didn't fit into my receiver or my speaker. So 11 of the 12 plugs were fine and work as advertised.
