ANOTHER GEM FROM LRB
Let's just jump to the point here: in any of its formations, the Little River Band is an awesome band. TIME EXPOSURE is certainly a prime example of their excellence. Glenn Sherrock, Beeb Birtles, Graham Goble, Wayne Nelson, David Briggs, Derek Pellucci, Bill Coumo and Peter James combine their estimable talents on the album's original 11 tracks and John Farnham appears on the bonus track, THE OTHER GUY.We know the quality of the album's three major hits: THE NIGHT OWLS, TAKE IT EASY ON ME and MAN ON YOUR MIND. But the remaining tracks are equally impressive. GUIDING LIGHT is a stunning ballad beautifully sung by Birtles, as is his marvelous BALLERINA. The brief but beautifully harmonic FULL CIRCLE. They approach the world of addiction with DON'T LET THE NEEDLE WIN, go ethereal with ORBIT ZERO and rock out with JUST SAY YOU LOVE ME, LOVE WILL SURVIVE, and go deep on SUICIDE BOULEVARD.LRB is my favorite group, and TIME EXPOSURE is a must have in their prolific catalogue.

Not Bad But Not Great For Long-Distance Driving
My wife and I have covered The Night Owls for decades in our various bands, thanks to MTV, yet we never picked up the album (actually cassette) until the mid-nineties. Recently, I burned it to CD and have been able to revisit the music with fresh ears. The album slammed me with two of their biggest hits right off, The Night Owls and Man On Your Mind. What follows are a collection of soft-rock tunes that are not bad, but frankly kind of gave me problems keeping awake while driving to work. This band is very mellow and outside of the first two songs, their style is just way too laid back for my usual heavy tastes. They band is definitely masters of their craft and have a knack of pulling off some great stuff, but it mostly doesn’t rock my boat. I won’t call it elevator music, but it’s not heavy. Not bad either, just doesn’t get me real excited.Great stuff if you want to sit back and mellow out.

Their last good album.
"Time Exposure" #21 (1981).Bassist, vocalist Wayne Nelson joins the band, this is a solid LRB album, their last really good album. Harder than most of their efforts. You get the hits, "The Night Owls" #6 hot 100 and #9 MSR, great guitar on this song, "Man On Your Mind" #14, "Take It Easy On Me", #10, and "The Other Guy", #11. You also get deep album cuts in, "Suicide Boulevard", Don't Let The Needle Win" and "Guiding Light". A keeper.

Fantastic Music From a Fantastic Group
I grew up listening to Little River Band. My mother was an avid fan. And I completely love this album! There are very few albums that I enjoy every single song on it, but this is one of them. If you get the chance to purchase this item, go for it. You will not be disappointed in the least. I wish I had this item on CD, but I don't. I've actually still got the vinyl record of it.
