Classic Gum in s Classic Tin
Good old fashioned mellow licorice flavor. Tasty and delicious, packaged in a reusable and collectable tin. This gum is hard to find. Its mildness is a pleasure. One note; this gum was a little hard to chew. I'm an adult and I remember it this way from my childhood but it might warrant consideration if you're giving it to a young child.

Not fit for human consumption.
100% DO NOT BUY THIS! I read the reviews that said this gum seems old and hard and not like the original Adams Black Jack gum. I miss Black Jack and decided to try my luck and I can confirm this is NOT suitable to carry the Black Jack name and should not even be called gum period. The stick shatters when you put it into your mouth, then if you let it sit in your mouth for a minute it will soften and release the flavor which does taste somewhat like Black Jack gum for a minute but then it turns into a hard lump like chewing flavorless wax. It is a non-refundable item. I'd go so far as to call this a scam. You buy it, can't use it and can't return it. SCAM!

Vintage Fun
I was doing some research for National Chewing Gum Day (Sept 30th, if you're curious.) I was surprised that this candidate for oldest brand of gum was still available. It made a nice little surprise for some friends who also knew about the day celebrating gum. The texture is a little dry/brittle - but it only takes a little chewing for it to soften and come together. The taste hints of licorice but is not overpowering. We all enjoyed our vintage Black Jack chewing gum, and the tin is a nice keepsake.

Tastes great.
My husband loved this as a kid and he said it tastes the same but the flavor doesn’t last as long as he remembers.

Taste great
Very cool to chew some of the same gum my parents got to chew when they were young. Ive always heard them talk about it. Love the flavor. It just dosent last as long as I wish it would.

Nostalgic Old Taste
Pretty much the same flavor I recall from much earlier days. Flavor does not last as long as the original if my taste memory is serving right. But this seller provides a good product. One purchase earlier of this gum, from another seller, and I ended up with a stiff, brittle gum that had a strange taste, barely recognizable as Black chewing gum.

Tastes AWFUL and I LOVE Black Jack!
I don’t understand the good reviews. This gum is nothing like the real Black Jack. The sticks are dry and brittle. The licorice flavor is weird! Don’t buy it unless you want the tin but the gum is a major DISAPPOINTMENT!

Delicious black licorice gum, read my full review
I have bought these a couple of times. I enjoy the licorice taste and the quantity of gum. I dropped 2 stars because the most recent 2 containers I bought crumbled in my mouth which made me believe they were old batches. The first one I got had the expected firmness of bubblegum but softened as it warmed in my mouth. The last two took a bit to do the same. The flavor also doesnt last very long. But, if you want some nostalgic experience I still recommend. Comes in a nice reusable tin.
