Not worth the hassle
These created mold in my water fountain;that is large mind you. I had to totally break it down and it's only a month old which meant I had to clean it out and scrub it along with all the rocks and the pump and remove the other plants. SO... whether I did something wrong or not I'm not sure but for it to grow mold and fungus and do what it did I was not happy with. They did grow rather quickly but they did not bloom to a flower even with my grow lights above my plants. You did get a good amount of the seeds per se for the money but unfortunately the aggravation was not worth it.

Disappointed
I'm an experienced grower of difficult, strange, and unique plants (sarracenia, nepenthes, fly traps, orchids, etc.), but have never tried these, so decided to order a package. I received the seeds quickly, and there were 22 seeds in the package. I started the seeds indoors (April 9th), following the directions. The water temperature has been kept at a steady 82 degrees F, and the bowl has been kept under a grow light to simulate sunlight. Water was changed twice daily, or more often if the biofilm seemed excessive. Six seeds actually germinated. That's far below generally accepted germination. They have now been moved outside (after temperatures are up and acclimation over two weeks), and I have 6 stems, and have very small leaves (larges is maybe 1.5 inches across). I'm disappointed and don't have high expectations of these.

I’m obsessed with these! I usually don’t leave reviews but these are a must have! And I never grow from seeds, because the process is so long. But these are So cool and fun to watch grow. Mine sprouted within a day and grew 1in-2in each day. I germinated them less than 2.5 weeks ago and some have flowers starting to grow. I will say I initially had them indoors and they grew fast but once I put them outside in full sun they really took off and leave starting opening.I had about 7 seeds that didn’t look like they were going to do anything so I threw 5 of the 7 away just to keep water cleaner but I wish I didn’t because the 2 that I kept sprouted as soon as I brought them outside. So excited to see the flowers!Amazing and can’t wait to buy more!

Viable seeds. Need patience to grow them.
Growing water lillies is tough. This was my first trial with seeds. I must say that at 50% success rate, I am pretty pleased.I followed the instructions on how to soak seeds and then move to wet soil bed once germination happens. Germination is where I lost 5 of 16 seeds.8 of the germinated seeds let out it's first leaves and are now in the pond. Hope they survive.Pros:Seeds are viable and you have actual plants.Cons:50% yield.. not really a drawback given the price.Seedlings need upltmost care during germination where you have to change the water everyday or it gets moldy. Also use non chlorinated water for germination only.

Don't waste your money!
These all came and even sprouted, but that was only half of them. Thw other half were dead and I could tell because they just floated to the top. Save your money and find a local distributed.

50% sprouted (10 seeds out of 20)
20 seeds, 10 sprouted but 10 didn’t (I kept changing water and kept hoping, but nothing happened). 50% success rate...you be the judge. It’s fun to watch these sprout and grow though.

Lotus flower seeds
Was surprised at how many seeds I got, so gave half to my grandson ,we had about 11 or 12 seeds each so good value for money .the instructions on how to grow are just in picture form ,so had to google for more info. The seeds are a mixture of size ,and it's the larger ones that have started to sprout first .ive taken them out of the water for the photo

success - but careful changing water
only took 2 days for a bit of green to peek out of some seeds. if you look at my pics, you'll see some green floating on top - that was what happened when I poured in warm water for the daily water change. I'm pretty sure I've killed two seedlings, but I'm leaving them in the water because wishful thinking! - so gently gently, I'll be doing it slow and carefully in future.

Hopeless
You might as well try and get a handful of pennies to germinate. Give your money to a homeless person and you’ll feel a lot better.

Really good
Arrived quickly, and seeds sprouted very very quickly. I can watch them grow daily, that’s how quick it is.
