LoCCo Gluten Free Low Calorie Sweet Chilli Sauce is a 500ml premium sauce designed for health-conscious individuals. This is a great sweet chilli sauce. Hotter than some but not incendiary, it has a nice balance of flavours.We've used it to marinate sliced beef for stir-fry, and on a vegetable dish with shrimp and tofu. Very happy with the results.

Hot, uniformly gloppy, not sweet. Basically a big bottle of hot orange gloop!
This is marketed as sweet chilli sauce, low calorie and gluten-free. The sauce comes in a large, squeezy, opaque bottle. It is a rather thick gloppy consistency and looks a uniform dull orange colour; not terribly appealing. The taste is actually a bit better, but it is quite fiery and not all sweet, hotter than I'm use to for a sweet chilli sauce. I'm afraid it just looks too unappealing to be used as a dipping or side sauce, although I would use it as a cooking sauce. The packaging gives it a rather cheap look, although actually when comparing to two bottles of a smaller sized premium sauce, it isn't that cheap. There is information in many languages, although I don't see any storage or use-by information (may be there, but I can't see it). The site recommends refrigerator storage and use with 30 days. There is no way I'd use this volume of chilli sauce in 30-days. However, I expect with the amount of preservatives it would last considerably longer. All round, I think I'll be sticking to better quality sauces.

Heat rather than flavour, not very sweet, pricey too
My husband hoped he would like this to fit in with his diet and give his food a kick. It's a fair sized squeezy tub but it's a bit watery and smooth, and despite the chilli you do still get that chemical aftertaste. Vinegary rather than sweet to counteract the heat, so it doesn't tick any boxes for me.It gets two stars for ticking as many boxes as the makers can to ensure it's low calorie, gluten free, etc etc. Just disappointing in quality and price.

Sweet Taste With A Chilli Afterkick!
First think to mention is this is am quite a large bottle, it’s 500ml so have a Liter.The bottle arrived in a Red Branded Wrap. You peel open the top to expose the Lid / Cap. You then have to unscrew the top to remove the seal before you can use the sauce.The sauce is not overly sweet, it is a little different from other ChillinSauces I have tried before, I was unsure at first if it even had a kick to it, but then the after burn kicked in.I think it would make for a nice dip for chicken strips etc, it has a similar thickness and taste to that of McDonalds Sweet Chilli dip.I have to say, a small amount is good so the bottle should last a long time.The expiry is almost a year as well which is good. A little of this sauce is nice, but perhaps too much could be a little sickly, so use it wisely ;)

Totally tasteless thickened water
I love flavour, but need to have it carb-free. I took a chance on this but it is going down the sink today. It has no flavour at all. None. Putting it on food, you get the impression of thickener. You can taste the gum. But that's it. There is no chilli flavour at all, sweet or otherwise.Don't waste your money.

Good gluten-free alternative...
This LoCCo Sugar-free Sweet Chilli Sauce is the Tex-Mex style of sweet chilli sauce rather than the Thai-style, so there’s no garlic pieces and it’s more like a spicy ketchup. It arrives in a good-sized 500ml squeezy bottle and can be stored in the fridge after opening. It’s good to have a gluten, fat and sugar free option but some of the flavour and especially the texture is missing too.Served with food it’s a perfectly acceptable sweet chilli sauce but the texture is a bit watery and the flavour has a tomato and chilli tang but not much else, but that’s true of many similar sauces. It uses Sucralose as a sweetener and so does manage to avoid the cloying sweetness and/or aftertaste of some sweeteners. It’s not bad but I doubt if you’d choose it unless you really needed to avoid sugar or gluten, however I appreciate the choice it offers.

LOCCO - Sauce au piment douxBonjour Madame/Monsieur, voici mon humble avis sur cet article.✅ Récipient arrivé bien emballé et surtout bien scellé.✅ Produit d'une validité de 1 an.✅ Le plastique du flacon n'est pas trop du pour une bonne distribution.✅ La composition est excellente et sera bien adaptée à un régime très suivi, cette sauce contient très très peu de calories.✅ Pour 100 ml, 14 Kcal et 1,4 g de sel, un produit qui sera consommé quotidiennement sans modération vu le peu de calories et de sel et a priori sans sucres ajoutés !✅ Pour le goût, cette sauce est quand même bien épicée et justement j'aime car il y a pas besoin d'en mettre beaucoup, le goût à la tomate est aussi très présent et bien bon en bouche.Je recommande sans modération cette excellente sauce, vraiment très bonne !Si mon expérience sur cet article vous a un peu éclairé, merci de bien vouloir cliquer sur ''Utile'' Je vous en remercie d'avance, et je vous souhaite une bonne journée ou soirée.

Die LOCCO Sweet Chilli Sauce enthält keinen Zucker, kein Fett, ist glutenfrei und vegan. Damit trifft sie natürlich genau den Zahn der Zeit. Auf der Flasche steht ausserdem noch: "1kcal; das bezieht sich auf eine Portion deren Größe mit 5 ml angenommen wird.Die Flasche ist eine Standard "quetsch-Flasche" mit einer Art Ventil im Deckel wie man sie von diversen Saucen bereits kennt. Die Handhabung und Dosiewrung ist daher gewohnt einfach.Die Sauce ist süß und scharf, jedoch beides angenehm und nicht übertrieben. Da ich gerne scharf esse würde ich die Sauce eher als "mild" bezeichnen, aber es ist eine deutliche Schärfe vorhanden. Ich bin mit dem Geschmack der Sauce sehr zufrieden.Leider gibt es zu diesem Zeitpunkt noch keine Produktseite, daher kann ich Aspekte wie Angebots-Inhalte und Preisstellung nicht bewerten. Für die Sauce selber vergebe ich aber gerne 5 leckere Sterne!
