I couldn't be happier with this purchase. All items arrived packaged nicely. It's a basic setup, but nice & solid - exactly what I was looking for (and at an unbeatable price).First stage is solid; I like the arrangement of the ports and all threads and caps were prefect. The primary second stage tends to "fart" a bit on exhalation on the surface, but flows nice and smooth in the water... This could be an adjustment that I just haven't played with (no need once I was below the surface).No free flow, no troubles. Very comfortable reg. I would definitely recommend highly, especially for new divers or anyone looking for a good reg package at a great price.

Ok I like it.

I used this reg for a week diving key largo, made 20 dives with no problems. It farts exhaling on the surface but does not underwater. It is light siction and will freeflow when at an odd angle but stops as soon as you put it up to your mouth.One dive lasted 24 hours, with 3 dives out and back into the Jules lodge habitat.I like the light touch to breathe and the lightweight second stage. The sport has come a long way from the 2 hose aqualung regulators!So far pleased and worth the money.

I bought this setup because the reviews looked good and it was a little less expensive than an entry Cressi bundle. Wish I had gone with a reputable manufacturer. After 6 dives in about 18 months, my primary regulator gets stuck on purge. I can't find a single dive shop that was familiar with Palantic or willing to service the primary.I thoroughly washed and soaked the gear after each dive and stored them in a dry, climate controlled space.

Great regulator for beginners. Used this for my dive certification and 20 dives since, and it performed really well. One thing you may need to watch out for is that it tends to free flow more then other regulators when it rolls upside down at the surface.

I got fooled. Should of known from the price. I though I was getting an over balanced regulator. I would return it right now if I wasn't going diving this weekend. So not happy with this. Piston balanced is what I wanted.

PROS: This little kit works fine. I was expecting a flimsy kit because the price appeared so low. It is cheaper to buy this new set compared to buying a used set. Good quality. Spent 1.5 hours diving in only 16 feet of water and worked perfectly. Price is excellent for divers that are starting up.CONS: The only two issues I have is; 1) Trying to find the manufacturer to obtain spare parts. It's literally mpossible to contact them.2) If they are going to sell regulators at this low price, why couldn't they sell a submersible pressure guage depth guage & compass console for a low price as well? For these reasons I rate them at 4 stars
