Works well!!!
First I bought an oil based product, Aloe Vera Ear Mite for Dogs & Cats. I quickly found out that the oil based was not for me but it did seem to work well enough. Then I ordered this one and it's GREAT. The water base is so much easier to use and it works very well. I would recommend doing the treatment outside because it will fly right out when they shake their heads. It also has an odor but it is not unpleasant. I have noticed no product on the furniture and my pup does sleep on my bed for part of the night. I only had to apply three times at a three day interval, problem solved!!! My plan is to use one time after the monthly bath as a preventative. Good value for the price, very easy to use can clean up if it flies, plus there is plenty of product that will store easily.

Works great on cats too.
Perfect percentage amount of medication needed in the solution as needed. Also a plus that the bottle is good sized. My vet used to carry a different brand with the same percentage of the main medication in it and it was more expensive in a much smaller bottle and worked very great also but unfortunately they quit making it. I found this alternative and am very pleased with the results. The vet said that it’s safe to use on cats as well even though it is marketed for dogs.

Kittens
I used this twice now on my kittens and it was fine. Cleared the mites right up. Instead of 10 drops in each ear, I did 3. Use your best judgement. Has. Bottle has a long shelf life.

works well
I've used this product for years. I see than some users have reported problems, but I have never had any and it works. Be sure to use according to instructions, and I am careful to wipe any excess off the animals face and ears. They will lick to clean off the excess, so make sure the product stays IN the ear. Update 2019 - still using this product. I find that the liquid base is easier to get into the ear canal compared to cream types. Some helpful tips I’ve learned: Warm the bottle slightly by putting it in a cup of hot water for several minutes before using. Saturate a cotton ball with the liquid and press the cotton ball into the ear. Don’t worry, it won’t go so far in that you can’t get it out. Massage the ear with the cotton ball in place. The liquid will gradually be pushed out of the cotton ball and into the ear canal. The cotton ball will pick up dirt and wax as you massage. DON’T let the liquid get into the cats mouth or eyes. That’s what causes the cat to foam at the mouth, which several users have mentioned. Use the product every 3-4 days until mites are completely eradicated. The product will not kill the eggs. You will have to apply several times, maybe more depending on severity of infection, to kill every generation.

Horrible smell, toxic to skin, but seems to work.
While this product did clear up my cat's mild mite infection, it left her with an ear infection...which is clearing up nicely after a trip to the vet (not cheap) with an anti-bacterial/fungal cream (cheaper than this ear mite product). After putting it in her ear, she shook her head and splashed a drop of the solution in my eye which then seemed goopy and red for a day afterwards. Additionally, it smells so strong and so horrible that -to add insult to injury- I had to bathe my cat after we had completed the two treatments. I'm normally amazed at how good my cat smells (if I had to bathe my entire body with my tongue...I just can't imagine that going well) but after using this she smelled like a box of dirty socks that had been crammed full of floral dryer sheets.

Well worth it!
I wish I would've taken before and after photos... tbh I wasn't expecting it to work nearly this well. My German shepherd Caesar's ears looked worse than any picture on here. After 2 applications, 2 days apart, his ears are completely clear. He was scratching and crying everytime he would scratch his ears or you would touch them. I did end up buying a liquid medicine syringe from Amazon to apply because he was so scared and touchy about his ears I knew I needed to get it in there quick before he moved his head. So I got the syringe with the long tube that I could get right by the hole in his ear and squirt it in quickly. Then he would tip his head down anyway and with the rubbing and massaging it in it coated the entire inside of the ear. So it worked very well. If I had one suggestion for the company it would be to charge an extra $3 or $4 and include an applicator. Us customers just want our pets happy as easy as possible. A few more dollars wouldn't have made me look elsewhere if I could trust that this product would work and work easily. Which it does. Buy this if your pet has ear issues. Mine were ear mites with a slight infection. Cleared it all up completely within a week. Even after a $120 vet visit for antibiotics and a thick cream that was impossible to apply. As far as other uses, I didn't try anything else. But it worked wonderfully for ear problems.

My own STUPIDITY almost killed my cat. Buyer beware.
Wish I had read more of the BAD reviews before purchasing. My cat is violently ill and being taken to the vet today and after sitting down and reading the BAD reviews I know exactly why. I feel like an idiot. I used the treatment AS DIRECTED EXACTLY. My cat went crazy trying to get away from me. He has never liked me messing with his ears so I thought it was because I was doing that very thing. This was in the evening. Next morning he had vertigo and turned down breakfast. NEVER has he turned down his soft food. I feed an extremely palatable canned dog food that my cats want more than their own canned food so I tried that. No luck. He is drinking but no appetite. I did this Wednesday night and Saturday morning he ate about a TSP total. I am going to treat him with activated charcoal because I believe he has been poisoned. I am deeply regretting this STUPID purchase. The second I smelled the odor I SHOULD have known better. If the activated charcoal doesn't do the trick he's off to the vet Monday. I WILL be requesting a FULL REFUND from Amazon and also making SURE that in the future I pay closer attention to the negative reviews instead of the more positive. I'm happy for those that were able to use this product successfully but I wouldn't recommend trying unless you have the money for the vet. I rescued him from dying as an infant just to kill him from my own stupidity?!?! BUYER BEWARE....=(
