Oil 30ml - Inhalant Decongestant Oil - Relief from Catarrh, Colds & Blocked Sinuses

I've been using this on a handkerchief to breath in when my nose is blocked, following a cold etc. I have done this for years now. I'd never once stopped to consider that it might have been doing more harm than good. I'm under an NHS respiratory team because I've also had lifelong asthma - and to make a long story short, they've discovered that the active ingredients in Olbas Oil attack the Bronchial tubes in **some** people, causing a tickly, dry, painful cough in the shorter term. The longer, and more of it you inhale, the worse the Bronchial damage will be. You do not need to be an asthma suffered to experience this "side effect" for yourself. Eventually your Bronchial tubes won't return to normal whilst using Olbas Oil and stronger, purpose approved, medicines are then needed to undo the damage. I am now using a pure steam "facial sauna" and a natural sea water saline nasal spray, with immensely more success as a decongestant. Whilst hopefully this is unintentional and won't cause the same problems in everybody, use it with care. The damage to my Bronchial Tubes is quite profound and there is no doubt about Olbas being the culprit.

Excellent product!!! Problem being Amazon, I have 3 on a monthly subscription, one was missing from the box OMG where do I begin? Amazon are disgusting, they accuse you of lying and want a police report for a £5.10 missing bottle of Olbas Oil, Seriously Amazon you need to get a grip!

If I could give zero stars I would. Purchased two bottles and neither had any smell at all. Now trying to get a refund!

My last bottle was the usual. It would last on a tissue for hours providing relief. My new bottle is so weak it really doesn’t do the job. What have they done to it because they’re not admitting to altering it? Seems to be more oil and much less essence.

One of the bottles had been opened / seal broken and put into the packaging envelope out of the original little box it should have been in so threw in bin as not safe to use in my opinion

The secure safety cap on this Olbas Oil which needs pressing down and turning worked once. Further attempts to open the bottle fail. So 99.9% of the contents are not available. Not impressed with the design.

Possibly tampered with. The box was open. The dropper plug that fits in the neck of the bottle was partly out, not tightly fitted, the lid didn't fit properly meaning the seal was already broken. Very disappointed.

Have they changed the recipe of the Olbas Oil as it doesn’t seem to last anymore It used to last overnight sprinkled on a tissue Now I’m lucky if it lasts an hour So not very happy Seems a waste of money now!

Je l'utilise depuis les années 1980 et tjrs la même odeur, ça decongetionne très bien et a mettre dans un nébulisateur ,une odeur agréable dans la maison et répulsif naturel
