I ordered by bust size and it was perfect. It fits so well that I won't even need the strings that tie up the back, so I may cut those off. I also appreciate the "skirt" around the bottom which adds a little length and also fits a little more loosely than the bust portion so it doesn't creep up my waist like some other tops do. I'm petite but pear-shaped -- not particularly gifted in the boob region but plenty of junk in the trunk, and I think the fit of this shirt is pretty flattering. Material is decent, too.Always always always check the size charts when ordering online. On this one, definitely make sure it's going to fit you in the bust. A small fits like a juniors size small up top (I'm talking snug on a 32A here folks), and while the fabric is kinda stretchy, there's not much wiggle room if you're on the upper bound of that inch measurement in the chart. If in doubt, or if you want a roomier fit, definitely order a size up.Also, as anyone who shops online a lot already knows, your monitor's colors may vary from the actual product. I ordered the "plum" color and it's more of a proper purple in real life than it appears on my screen, not really any pinkish/magenta hue to it. I prefer it that way, actually, so it's all good.

Wore this for a ren faire event and it looked great and was super comfortable. I did size up as stretchy material also means it's clingy and I didn't want that, but otherwise I'd say it is true to size and fun to wear.

I really wanted to love these tops, but I have to admit I was disappointed and they are all going back. I will say that I am NOT a plus size, so perhaps they will work better on a plus size woman. But even as a regular sized woman, when I wear a top like this, I want them to ENTIRELY cover the backside and they do not. I ordered size Large. I am 5'3", a solid 130 lbs, and I don't look overweight at all, but on the shorter side, I like to wear a pretty top like this with leggings, and it didn't cover my rear end. I can't imagine why the designers stopped this short. Perhaps with a skirt or other type of pant, it will work. But they didn't fall where I wanted them to. I also think for the price, the quality of material should be much better. For this fabric, I think it should be about $20-25 cheaper, they are no more than a $40 value, maximum!! Also, while I'm not overweight, I am not a lightweight, skinny girl, but I didn't quite fill out the top, although I couldn't go smaller, and maybe that's why you need to truly be full-figured to appreciate these. But I don't think the seems in the corsets, bust area, etc, fell where I would have expected them to. I could have done a whole lot of altering to make these appear as beautiful as they do in these pictures. 1 reviewer mentioned that the laces untie very easily and this is true!! I couldn't control the laces just in trying them on - I can't imagine how annoying it would be if I was actually wearing the top! Very disappointed, they look so pretty - the idea is there, but it doesn't translate in the wearing. Add a few inches to the length, upgrade the fabric and lacing, tweak the lines within the top, and you probably have a hit. But not these, not at these prices. Thankful that Amazon does free shipping both ways on them!! Would NOT have been happy if I had to pay both ways!

This top is cut to express maturity and shows maturity curves off well. It's not too low cut, and the material stretches nicely. I typically order a large for comfort, but this fits me more like a snug medium. Good thing I'm planning on losing weight. I haven't worn it for an extended amount of time, but will edit this review if any unsatisfactory aspects come up.

I have always loved the Gothic/Victorian style but could never find any stores around me that will actually have something beautiful like this or if they did, not for people of my size -_-. The shirt and style is just so super flattering and gorgeous. So glad it fits as expected. Pay attention to her size chart. You get what you pay for so it is honestly worth the money. Feels nice and heavy (I mean luxury feeling) beautiful detailing, soft. Not falling apart, actually looks like a professional made these. I have about 5 or 6 of dare to wear shirts now and I am completely convinced that I am now a loyal customer. However this is only first impressions. I will edit this post as I wear them and wash them just to update how they hold up.Update 4/19/2021: I have had these shirts for quite a while now never had any issues with any of the lace messing up or anything I am very pleased with these. Keep in mind I don’t wear them all the time only for nice occasions or if I just feel like looking super cute when I go out and about with family or friends.

Im a large person. So after checking the size charts i decided to order 2 sizes larger than i actually wear thinking i could always take it in if i went to large. It arrived and it was so small i couldnt even pull ot on past my shoulders. So much for ordering 2 sizes larger. It was quite dissapointing. The material was also very cheap but it did LOOK exactly as pictured at least. I ended up returning it which went through without issue.

Was not impressed. A bit on the short end. Not as bad as some. Had some stretch to it. Probably more flattering for small bone size 0-3 girls with smaller chest as well.

This fit well because I did as I was told and went by my chest size. Ignore waist size. Doesn’t matter. I received a lot of compliments on it. I used it as part of my witch costume and it really came together with the black skirt I chose.
