On it's own It's not really sweet. You'd have to use a lot to get it to actually taste sweet in food, drinks etc. It definitely isn't a 1:1 sugar replacement which I didn't expect it to be as erythritol is generally 70% as sweet as sugar ( I don't even think that's the case in reality, more like 50% to me) . I used it more as a bulker with my monk fruit extract adding 1.5 tsp to a cup and blending it in my bullet to get it to incorporate properly to get it to my desired level of sweetness. I think it's better to use it this way as I've noticed that using too much erythritol makes my throat feel sore. Mixing it allows me to use less. Not saying I wouldn't buy it again. I do like that it's non GMO and made in the US.

To put on Rice Chex cereal

I had tried many sweeteners that were way off the mark fir flavor. Then watched a review of many sweeteners and the horrible additives that make them worse than sugar in the body. Then learned that Erythritol was plant based and no additives and 7/10 as sweet as sugar. I tried and love it. Cooks well, taste great and able to put in the sugar bowl for guest.This is my new sweetner of choice.

This product arrived today. I was happy to receive it. Too bad it smells like feet and has a weird after-taste. Spat out the first thing I put it in. Useless.
