Gets the job done: solid signal from a DP 1.2 source to an HDMI 1.4 display with up to 4K support (at the lower 1.4 frame rates). Build quality feels decent — snug connectors and flexible cable — but don’t expect ultra-premium shielding. Works great for laptops/GPUs to monitors/TVs when you need simple plug-and-play. Just remember it’s uni-directional (DP → HDMI only); won’t work the other way.

Just recently upgraded the video card (along with a few other components) in my PC, but in doing so, reduced my available HDMI ports to just one, with 3 Display Ports... so obviously I had to do something about that so I can keep rocking two monitors. Enter this product- it does the job I need it for, and at one of the lowest price points I could find. Friendly warning/reminder of this product's info page, this cord is specifically for an HDMI monitor plugging into a display port; it will not work in reverse.
