Sports, Beta-Alanine 750 mg, Delays Muscle Fatigue*, 120 Veg Caps

As an active woman who loves to run and enjoys strength training, Beta-alanine is a supplement I like to add in my stack when I want extra energy and endurance. I purchased many products from NOW Foods (both the regular and the Sports line) and I'm always satisfied by the quality. As a small athletic female (5'5'', 110-120lbs) I can only take 1 capsule before a really hard workout or a long run. This stuff is strong enough to give me a big rush in just 15-20 minutes. I can really feel the jitters and rush; if it's not an intense enough workout I definitely get some skull pressure from the rush going to my head instead of the muscles (and I noticed in reviews many mentioned headaches). The effects last for 1-1.5 hours, with the tingling getting less noticeable as I workout. The tingling doesn't subsides once I take it over a long period, I just got used to it. It's not uncomfortable or bad, just strange, especially if you are not used to taking similar supplements. Maybe I'm exaggerating a little, but I feel like 3 capsules would kill me; so I highly recommend starting with a low dosage and increasing it only if you feel safe (especially if you are a small person like me). Personally I found that taking it along theanine helps keeping the rush, jitters and tingling down. I would be actually afraid to combine it with caffeine or other stimulants. For me it helps with muscle fatigue during and immediately after the workout, but I would still feel the muscle burn/fatigue next day if I overdo it. The pills are regular sized, maybe a little on the slightly bigger size, easy to take (but I don't have issue with larger pills usually), don't caused me stomach issues.

This is a great Beta Alanine Supplement, and this will be my second time purchasing this brand. It's a great price and quality. I used to get a horrible burning sensation early on, in my leg routine. Unbearable. Now, no pun, I hardly get it at all, and can increase the length and intensity of my workouts. I wish I knew about this sooner. My legs are growing more than ever because I can push harder. Don't let the 1 star reviews deter you. They have no idea what they are talking about, and left me wondering why they initially purchased it, and if they even exercise? Work your way up to 2-3 grams pre-workout. I take it 30 minutes before exercise. It gives me the tell-tale tingles, which starts my countdown to working out.

Good product received as expected

I have been taking beta alanine for about a month. I have been doing CrossFit, and I believe that the beta alanine has helped my performance. I did not notice anything for about two weeks. It seems to be working better now at four weeks. Hopefully, it will continue to improve performance. I notice more muscle endurance. Being able to do more reps at a given weight. No difference in maximal strength. I have been taking 3 grams per day, which is 4 capsules. The capsules are very convenient to take. I like the product and will continue to take it.

Not many supplements that are a game changer, but this is one of them on par with crayons or caffeine. The effect on my recovery/stress as measured by my Garmin are huge. I do recommend starting out with 1 and increasing to 2. I get the skin tingles at 2 so that means my body is probably processing as much as it possibly can. I love the way I feel though, the tingles have grown on me. I take 2 in the am and 2 in the pm.

This stuff seriously works and gives serious pumps. I get all tingly and just want to start lifting heavy things for about 2 hours, I usually have to force myself to stop. The tingling sensation subsides as I begin my workout. I must say though I have had to up the dosage gradually as I use the product. The body builds a tolerance to these supplements. You're pre workout may already have beta alaline in it so check the ingredients before you buy this. My pre workout does not and that is why I take this. Buy this product if you want a more concentrated dosage or if your pre workout doesn't contain beta alaline.

I use this product in conjuction with a regimen of a few other supplements and I've definitely seen results. I am currently taking a protein shake with creatine; along with BCAA's, fish oil cap's, vitamin D, and Androsurge Estrogen blocker for men. I have been Crossfitting for more than one year and it wasn't until I started this pill regimen that I started seeing dramatic results. It was though I'd unlocked a 'high gear' that I hadn't had since I was 21 (I'm now 41). I can't be certain as to what is providing the most benefit and which is not providing any benefit whasoever but why ask questions when I am adding 4 pounds of muscle mass a month and losing bodyfat at the same time. My assumption is that the Beta-Alanine is helping me with the drive later in my workouts, as I was lacking that previous to my pill regimen. Now I drive harder towards the end of a MetCon and with more power. You will feel the tingle, no doubt, but that helps me to believe that the beta-alanine is doing something

This gives me a nice tingle like all beta alanine does, and it seems to make me want to do things and get off the couch.. also has an energetic effect without the stimulant feeling. Works well as a preworkout also.

This is a very underrated supplement that’s much needed for the gym to push through the lactic acid in your muscles and perform better in every workout

Muy recomendable y sus efectos se notan de inmediato.

It helps
