A dream camera system. A wonderful surprise!
I had A*lo cameras for over 5 years. I was somewhat dissatisfied with them due to lagging motion recognition. Granted that they were old, but I wanted a replacement. I researched extensively and decided to give the Blink system a shot. I ordered the special 3 camera deal and was hopeful they would be satisfactory. I installed the cameras ( seamlessly) and am totally satisfied. The motion recognition response is excellent. The video is extraordinary clear and sharp. The interface is easy and intuitive. I am highly recommending this wonderful system to all my family and friends. Great product.

Far superior to the mounts that come with Blink cameras
I own a number of Blink cameras, and all the outdoor cameras are attached to trees. I quickly discovered this can be an issue if you have curious squirrels, raccoons, crows or neighborhood cats (my property is frequented by all four) as the mounts Blink supplies with their cameras are simply pathetic. Just a slight nudge by critter or strong gust of wind and the camera is dislodged--and trying to adjust where the camera points while it's "attached" to the original Blink mount is a massive aggravation. These replacement mounts are hands down worth every penny. For those who state these mounts come with no directions, well, on the set I received the directions for mounting are right on the outside of the box. There was also a flyer inside. In truth you don't need directions as it's obvious how to mount them. They are certainly no more difficult to mount than those awful little ones that come with the cameras, the visor above the camera does in fact protect it from rain and, to a lesser degree dust/pollen and it will clearly add an extra layer of protection against moisture getting into the battery compartment as long as you have the camera pointing slightly downwards. The mount itself screws securely into the housing that surrounds the camera, so no more cameras popping off the mount by a gentle nudge or a blast of wind--which could damage your camera, assuming you could locate it afterwards. Once mounted and the camera oriented the way you want (which is a breeze) and all the adjustments tightened, it's rock steady. A squirrel happily demonstrated that it won't budge when he sat on it, then he and a friend raced up and down the tree the camera was mounted on, sometimes using the camera as a launching pad and the camera did not move. We also had a pretty decent windstorm a few days ago and while I'd always been worried for my cameras in really bad weather, as all are fully exposed to whatever Mother Nature throws at my property, these new mounts held fast--no issues. It also does not in ANY way interfere with night vision as at least one reviewer stated (maybe an earlier model?) or the microphone. The cameras work just as they did on the Blink-supplied mounts. These new mounts might also stump any would-be or opportunistic thieves, or at least make them work for their ill-gotten gains (in the process allowing the camera time to get good mug shot) as it might not be obvious how to remove the camera to anyone unfamiliar with this mount. That's another plus: if you need to remove the camera, to replace the batteries, the mount/camera housing will remain precisely the way you wanted it--no more repositioning once you replace the camera in its housing. The screws supplied are worthless--a minor quibble--buy some decent screws at the hardware store if you don't have any on hand. Otherwise a great purchase that I'm sure will extend the life of my Blink cameras and definitely worthwhile "insurance" for my investment in these Blink cameras. I just wish Blink would supply these with their cameras, instead of the dinky, useless mounts that come with them.

Easy to install
These were easy to install and seem to protect the camera. The only issue I have is that the camera still just pops in like the factory mounts so someone could still easily just grab the camera down. They serve their intended purpose, though.

Test products as soon as you get them.
Camera works but floodlight is defective. Expensive lesson - try products when you receive them. I waited unfortunately and now am stuck with a camera with no floodlight.

Not good at all.
Install and set up were easy. I got the three camera system then added a fourth camera with solar panel. At first they seemed OK. It was better than the no cameras we had before. Problems. When camera doesn't detect motion it is supposed to take a photo every hour. Note: this feature only works during the trial period or with subscription. I realized every night different cameras would not have the photo lapse or any motion events. It seems random with which camera doesn't work. All of them should have one or the other. We have the blink app on two phones. If you arm or disarm system with either phone the other phone doesn't show correct status. Pain in the butt. Seems sensitive to leaves falling from trees but one of the two driveway cams didn't go off when I drove right into parking space, 15 feet in front of cam. They have stopped recording before my set time many times now when there is clearly still movement in front of cam. It seems to have a hard time picking up animals. Shuts off early when my neighbors dog was in my barn, when my goat got loose and when deer are in my yard. Most clips start off with whatever triggered motion halfway through camera view. Way to slow. You can not read license plates at night with night vision on. If you turn night vision setting up to high any kind of reflector ie license plates and tail light reflectors blow the picture out. I keep getting notifications saying motion was detected and there isn't any clip saved. Also live view can not be saved without subscription even if you have an sd card installed. I'm sure there are more things wrong I can't think of now.Update: I can't say enough bad things about this system. Again came home last night the first driveway cam didn't go off the second one that points right where I park didn’t go off. Front porch worked. Went to the barn, that camera didn't work. 25% success. A few nights ago both of my barn motion sensor lights went off, no camera. And yes the app shows them all connected to hub and wifi. These things work about as good as the fake decoyones you can buy.
