You will catch fish!!
I have caught sooooo many fish on this lure!!! I have bought this kit a couple of times this year!!! Puts hundreds of trout in the boat, but also has the ability to catch multiple species! Yellow perch fire on this thing!!! Crappie, no problem. Even had some largemouth around 2lbs. Smallmouth...done. Love it on 2lb., fluorocarbon!

Nice Little Kit
I bought these after watching a video (ad) about them on YouTube. I’m leery of products that seem a little gimmicky, and these do, but I watched the video a couple of times and was convinced I needed them. (And for the price I was willing to take the risk…) As it turns out, this was a terrible year for trout in my area. I didn’t catch a single one. I can’t blame the Trout Magnet because I didn’t catch any on lures that have worked for me in the past, either. What I can report is that this was a nice kit in a nice box. It’s a lot smaller than I pictured and easily fits in my fishing vest and the back pocket of my jeans. It may not have worked for me this year, but I like knowing that I have it. I haven’t tried, but I think it would work well on crappie and general pan fish. I may not have caught anything, but I don’t regret buying it, either.

Too light...
My first time to try this jig on ice fishing without a tent, 1/32 oz is much lighter than I thought. It merely straight my 4lb test line (I know it says 2lb test line is the best), and sink very very slow. In a windy day it's hardly sinking. And it's too small that my fish finder can't detect it, so I could not use it to locate the fish and tell the depth. I would have gave 2 stars if I just use this jig and the lure. However I am smart enough to add a 1/16oz drop in one foot up the jig, which make it way more easier to control. After the modification I finally caught a trout. 4 stars for the lure.update 04/09/2019I fished on ice with this lure over the late part of the past winter, caught some nice trout. I lower one star for this product because I lose more trout than catch, due to the much smaller barb on these hooks that won't hook fishes tight.

Suckered into buying this...and I couldn't be happier
I love to fish and watch a number of YouTube fishing channels. Saw this product from a few of the hosts of the channels. At first, I didn't fall for the pitches, but I guess you watch them enough and it slowly works it's way into your subconscious. Long story short, I bit the bullet and bought it. Bottom line, solid performer. I've caught crappie, blue gill, striped bass and even largemouth bass. I even fished at a lake I've been skunked at a couple of times and this time 2 stripers and a decent largemouth. I'm hooked, no pun intended.

All in all we caught 10 trout and missed strikes on at least 10-15 more.
I took these out a couple days after I received them on a short fishing trip with some friends. We tried a variety of different baits and techniques, including worms, powerbait, spinners, etc. and nothing was getting a bite. I threw a mealworm color with a gold head on my line under a weighted bobber and on the first or second cast brought in the first trout. All in all we caught 10 trout and missed strikes on at least 10-15 more. All within less than 3 hours. Going to try these out up at one of my favorite trout spots soon!

Enjoyed
I am just starting to learn how to jig and fish for trout. I was able to catch trout, bluegill and some bass on the same day using the pink color grub. I like that it has multiple colors to choose from. It is a nice assortment of lures

Catches fish
I had great success with the trout magnet grub this week catching panfish. The pond water was shallow (less than 5 feet) but fairly clear. There was a very light breeze so very calm water. There were some weeds and other bottom vegetation. The stupid simple rig I had on my ultralight spinning combo was a kid bobber, followed by about 18 inches of mono line tied directly to the dart head and grub. This allowed the lure to be suspended about a foot or so from bottom. I had no line twists when I casted and mostly avoided the weeds. I lightly pulled the rod tip as the directions on the box advised and got nibbles right away (zero with my Mepps spinner that I tried earlier). I experimented with both the white and hot pink grubs, and panfish much preferred the hot pink.

They actually work. Best $10 ever spent.
For the price, you can not beat these little grubs. I was skeptical at first because they’re so small, but man do the trout love them. I run 4 lb test and it works great. I jig them slowly on the return and almost always get a bite when it is sinking. I’ve caught dozens of trout, wild and planters, and I can’t wait to buy more. Use light line, put a swivel on the leader, and jig slowly. I also recommend using Berkeley power scent and smearing it on every 10th cast or so.
