It smells medicinal—neither good nor bad. It is a thin gel, so you don’t apply much and it is not an overpowering smell like Ben-Gay. I don’t find it objectionable. But then, I use it on the bottom of my foot.

I don't recall, but I think so. You should check for yourself the ingredients on the labels for both products.
