I got the “T” version and they work exactly like they are supposed to. First, the “T” worked perfectly for my under cabinet lights where I wanted two rows of light - one near the front edge and another near the middle of the cabinet. The clips that came with the “T’s” were also easy to use where I just lined up the light strip and slid it in and locked the clip. Wish I had purchased the “L” from this company as the other I tried worked about 1/2 the time and sliding the strip in those clips were very hard since they were poorly made. Instructions were very clear but it’s pretty simple to use the item. Lights work just like I wanted them to. Wish I had purchased all the connectors from this company.

I like it and I liked the function of this product but the only problem is as I said if you do not align the LED lights correctly it will not work properly and there will be colors or electrical scratching, in short you need to be careful to align the ends when installing.

I was looking for a way to split a 16 foot RGB LED strip so that I could run power to it from the middle and install an RGB LED into some new custom cabinetry (the top shelf in the attached photo). I purchased this product, but after it arrived, I realized that it wasn't going to work for that particular application. The main reason why it didn't work for me is because of the size of the T joint in this connection. But I want to stress that this product can fulfill a need for most people, and in the end, I used these connectors for another purpose. The only reason why I didn't use this product for that top shelf was that the bookshelf was a permanent installation and the location where this T connector would have been installed would not have been accessible without significant effort. These aren't something that you can just tuck in between a shelf and the edge of the cabinet. In fact, after I bent several of these, they tore, which broke the connections. Instead, for the top cabinet, I soldered individual connections to each side of the wire and brought those wires down the wall behind the other cabinets. All of the wires pool together are are grouped below the desk in this photo (pull the chair out and we have a shelf where cords come out and transformers are plugged in). As it turns out, I was able to use these connectors in that spot, because I now had the two wires and felt more comfortable using these connectors where I can get at them and make fixes if needed. But I would just stress that I wouldn't really consider this as an option if you are planning to place this connector somewhere permanent that isn't going to be easily accessible. These connectors are kind of finicky and as you jiggle them the connections are lost. They are a lifesaver in that they make it easy to quickly get connections tested, but I'm already planning a custom board for all of my connections to replace these. TL;DR: In a pinch, or even for testing what you are planning to install, for the price, these are invaluable. Just don't plan on installing these on a job for hire. These aren't permanent-grade connectors.

I had about a 12" piece of a light strip that burned up and I was able to cut out the piece and replace it with a new piece using the connectors. It worked perfectly the first try.

I purchased these connectors to create a light display on the outside of my home with LED light strips. I have not mounted the strips, yet so cannot verify the quality of these connectors at this time. They appear to be high quality and I believe they will do the job for me. I will update my review if needed after using the product.

As odd as it seems, the failure rate of this product was about 50%. I used these to connect different pieces of a Govee led light strip. I had to try multiple pieces at each connection before I could get the color sequencing correct. The only explanation I could come up with is that the wiring is very fragile or flawed in the T connectors. Once I found a good piece the joint worked fine.

Works, but it takes a lot of time fidgeting to make sure all colors to work, getting Red to work is notoriously hard. It looks simple but can't pin point at all why when a LED strip was plugged in and one of the color doesn't work. It should just plug in and work without me bring out the multi meter testing out the voltage and resistance to find out which lead is bad and where was the bad contact and in the end nothing can be done because it was just that flimsy. Guess I gotta bring out the solder and wires to make my own custom connection. However great customer service, good communication, buy with confidence.

Overall ok and works. A few of the connectors were Missing the metallic connectors making them nonuseable.

Like the title says. The little triangular ribbon cable works fine but the clips with the connectors are horribly designed, built and does not give proper circuit connectivity. Ive connected it, and the original led strip that has the power will strobe the colors i want, but 2 other strips connected to the split, will only produce red or blue. This is because there isnt a proper connection in the clip thus it loses voltage and wont produce proper rgb colors. I instead soldered 30g wire to the ribbon cable and onto the strip in place where the connectors are and it all works perfectly fine. Buy this for the ribbon cable, not for the connecting clips * they have reached out to me and made sure i have been compensated with the problems ive had with this product. I would say they reacted to my review very professionally, thus making this purchase non stressful and i would confident to purchase abother Jackyled product in the future

Pros: These connectors mainly do their job of connecting RGB led light strips. You can connect the strips at different angles with incorrect alignment of the rgb as long as the positive cable (+) are lined up. With much fiddling and using all the connectors I got my intended setup to work. Cons: However, one of the connectors stopped working and I had to switch it out and take out a piece of the led strip to resolve the connection. Also, to keep the positive sides aligned, you may have to use multiple connectors at one corner to turn the strip the direction you prefer. Keep in mind these plastic adapters are also tough to open without nails. Occasionally the red light in my strips goes out in one portion, but I’m not sure if this is due to the quality of the strips or the connectors. Caution: before you start with any project you may want to measure out and see where your led strips can be cut. As you can see with my project, I could not cut the strips at the exact places I wanted and had to bend the strip or compromise in certain areas to get the desired layout. Customer Service: They resolved any complications I had with the product and it’s use; friendly and prompt service. Overall: I was unsure about the effectiveness of this product when paired with cheaply made led strips from China which are not actually RGB+ but more like BRG+. However, when you fiddle with these connectors enough you can get them to work just fine.
