Yes! I typically wear 18 in pants and these fit GREAT! I'm 230 LBS, 5'6" and they make me look very shapely too! I ordered more colors!

Do these pants have any metal on them like a grommet in the drawstring area? I need to get something for hip x-ray without metal.

Wait - Mine have a metal grommet around each drawstring hole. I ordered the coffee color in the fall of 2020.

List fabric in description? modal is processed with chemicals that many people are allergic to and the ftc will not allow to be labeled natural!

Not sure what you're asking? It does say modal fabric in the description. Maybe that's been added since you posted your question. But yes, modal, viscose, rayon, lyocell, etc. are all fibers made from chemically processed wood pulp. I can't find any info online about the FTC banning these fibers from being called natural, but the textile professionals I know do consider them to be natural fibers since they are wholly comprised of wood. It's always good to wash a new clothing item before wearing, though, as most of them do have residue from manufacturing chemicals on them.
