Not a terpene to consume!
I was looking up terpenes and all their medical uses and benefits, I’ve recently got into buying them and trying them, when this came up it came up when I was searching for this particular terpene, I do not believe this to be a terpene that you can consume in any way! If your looking for terpenes it’s not this company

Truly Amazing
This is a truly remarkable compound. I regularly use it on tight or achy muscles (often combined with eucalyptol from this same seller) and it almost always relieves the pain and calms my mind. For sleeping I sometimes take 3-5 drops and it knocks me out hard. I don't know why this stuff doesn't get as much press as CBD as it feels like it affects me even more profoundly. I've used it as part of a massage oil on a partner and there were no negative effects, in spite of what the warning label on the bottle says. It also works well for helping sunburn heal faster.

Not Effective For Hyperalgesia
The seller claims this is food grade. The bottle does not state this. I hope the seller is being accurate. Many animal tests show caryophyllene helps reduce neuropathic pain, including hyperalgesia.Up to 6 drops orally was tested twice on seperate days for diabetic peripheral neuropathy pain (hyperalgesia mostly), diluted in 1 tablespoon of sunflower oil. It has a mild taste of cloves (which it is probably extracted from).Tingling is felt after about 10 minutes. This fades after several hours. It did not help relieve hyperalgesia at all. Feels similar to ibuprofen, which also doesn't relieve hyperalgesia. Might be useful for headaches, but not hyperalgesia.Either this is not effective for neuropathy hyperalgesia in humans, or it's just very weak and not worth it.Food grade eugenol, or food grade clove oil, is far more effective at 1 drop orally than 6 drops of caryophyllene is.If I find other uses for it I will update my review.

doTERRA salespeople think it's CBD lol
Great product. Pungent aroma. I've seen this advertised as CBD from doTERRA salespeople. There's a single article from their site mentioning CBD and terpenes (which this is) and they don't know anything so they associate them as the same thing. Lol. Don't be mis informed.

Not food grade DO NOT INGEST
This is not food grade. There are extreme warning labels on this. Do not invest as dietary supplement. I reached out to the company and they had no comment on if you can ingest it while calling it food grade which to me scream caution...

Potency seems a bit less than my prior purchase
I haven't used it many times yet, but it does seem to help with bone pain. I am happy a glass bottle is still used and not a plastic one.

MAY INTERFERE WITH THYROID
I tried this product knowing that some cannabinoids and CBD can interefere with thyroid function. One of the reviews that I read said that 3 or 4 drops of this helped with sleep.I was interested in the sleep benefit. It may have helped slightly, but the result was a lower body temperature. For a person that has lower thyroid function (hypothyroidism) that indicates that this may be interfering with thyroid.
