I didn't know about unique pretzel company and they are in Reading, PA. They have some very good stuff! The pretzels are very good. And I don't mean just very good, I mean very very good! Can't buy locally, never heard of them before, but they are for real and are very good! Would recommend to anyone who really likes the dark pretzels, and not the full tooth breakers, these are perfect! Salt is plenty but not too much. Fresh dates! Crunch! Excellent value!

These pretzels are crispy, salty, crunchy and delicious. Broken pieces get dipped in ice cream. Great snack.

I buy these all the time. If you're like me, you savor those few pretzels in the bag that are slightly charred. Well, here's an ENTIRE bag of those, charred all over. Not overly salty or flaky. I think they've changed in that respect b/c I remember having issues with the black char dust transferring from the pretzel to my fingers to my clothes. I am not seeing that anymore. Aside from sourdough pretzels, these are my favorite and if you ask my entire family, you will know I am the pretzels KING. They make a great outer-shell only pretzel that is quite good as well. They have sourdough rings too that actually have that sourdough taste like so many others don't. Wonderful company.

If you love dark roasted pretzels as I do, these are for you!

LOVE the flavor--just the right amount of char without being burnt. BUT: I spend more time scraping off excessive salt than I do eating one. I do go through the trouble, though, because the pretzels are so delicious that way. Without that step, all I taste is salt. After going through the trouble, there is still an abundance of salt on the pretzel. The Original Splits seem to me to have just the right amount of salt; I'm mystified over why the Extra Dark comes loaded with (guessing) 3 or 4 times that amount.

I have ordered these about 4 times now. The first 3 batches were great. Super crunchy, deep flavor. The last batch I ordered were regular, boring pretzels, then the outside just utterly torched and bitter. I really hope that was just a bad batch and not the new way of doing things. I'll give them one more shot and if it was as bad as the last batch, it will be my final time ordering.Edit: Bumping up a star for the near-instant customer service! Glad they are taking the feedback seriously and am confident now that it was just a bad batch.

Fresh, great taste and just different all around especially because they are dark.

These pretzels are awesome. I love extra toasty anything so I tried these and they are great!
