This product isn't anything like what the pictures and description claim it to be
This product isn't anything like what the pictures and description claim it to be. It's just a 3 inch by 3 inch tin box with a tiny little metal spoon in it. Mine did not have the syrup in it it was supposed to and when purchasing, I missed the fact that the alcohol was not included. In essence, I spent $17 for a spoon. And then find out that the item is not eligible for return. How convenient. I have never been more disappointed by something I've purchased on Amazon.

PSA: THIS ITEM IS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURNS | Expensive Travel Gift You Can Pass On
I'm sure this is a cute gift to give someone (although not a very cost efficient one) but I was pretty disappointed.I bought it for that exact reason - a seemingly cute gift that I heard about through one of those Christmas Guides. I purchased the Gin & Tonic kit alongside the Bloody Mary version for my brother's travel themed birthday gift. Unfortunately, the duo arrived about two days after the promised date. I kept them in their original packing, logged onto start a return, and discovered that returning them wasn't an option at all, actually. Bummer. (Especially because of the price... ouch)Because I was stuck with it, I opened it up and took a look. I recommend once you receive these to immediately look on the back of the tin for a small expiration date sticker. I didn't have problems with this one in particular but the Blood Mary one had only five months left. The items come in a nice, small tin with some cute branding on the inside stating "WHEELS UP." It's cute.I was a bit disappointed that the actual bottle of tonic was slightly sticky and has a faint residue on it. It also had a bunch of small particles floating inside and I'm none the wiser if that's how it's supposed to look so I'm just mentioning in case it's not.I think it's important to note that this entire kit is SUPER dependent on getting the bulk of the ingredients from the actual flight attendant. For some this may be obvious but it's important to reiterate as it keeps bringing down the cost efficiencies of having something like this. Yeah you have some cute utensils and a bottle of Tonic Syrup, but you still have to pay for the mini bottle of Gin on the plane so how much are you really saving? Unless you're getting this for the novelty of making your own drink on a flight. The instructions aren't too bad but leave a bit to be desired. It states to use the provided jigger to measure a 1/2 oz of tonic syrup...but to do that do you fill up the entire jigger provided or fill it up half way? It doesn't specify. Finally, the cloth napkin came all bunched up in the bag like how you bunch up clothes when you toss them in the hamper. Doesn't impact its use but it looks pretty bad. Would have been better had they folded it up and put it inside - there's plenty of room.I'm unable to speak about the actual taste it derives but just wanted to give a warning to be absolutely sure of what you're buying before you do. These are preeeettty expensive and you'll be stuck with them regardless!

Cannot use
Had this in my husband’s Christmas stocking for our upcoming trip. While it looked great on the outside, he opened it up and it was a mess. The margarita mix had spilled and soaked the bag. Everything had crystallized, so it must have happened before I received it. Was at the top of the stocking and first thing he opened. Waste of money.

I should have researched more before I bought.
When this arrived I didn't even open it because it was a gift for someone but when they opened the gift it was a let down. The only thing special about this is the packaging because there isn't anything in this that you can't easily get in any kitchen or off your phone. The idea was that we would take this on a trip we were taking but we never used it because you could get everything on the plane or any restaurant or bar. I guess if you bought the alcohol and took this camping maybe that would be cool but I'm not sure why you would spend the money on this when you can just pack the essentials.

Came with sticker across label!
The package came quickly, but one of the draws to this item is it’s design. It came with a 1 inch by 3 inch sticker right across the front. I wish I had taken a photo before trying to peel it off. I got the majority of the sticker off, but there is still residue and paper covering some of the front label. Don’t order this if looks matter!

Bloody right ! Just saying ...
First - let's be realistic, this is purely an over the top extravagance. That being said the mix is delicious and the concept and ritual of preparing a delicious cocktail in your seat is awesome.Sure, you get a few funny stares from your fellow passengers but it is just because they are jealous. There are other Carry-on cocktail mixes out there as well.Go ahead - get one, mix away, make your row-mates jealous and enjoy!Cheers, Prost, Salut, Egeszsegedre!

Patience for kids on planes
These are awesome. Such a great gift and easy to take on the plane with you. You just need the shot which if you buy before you get to the airport, TSA let's you take it through security. Helps you relax a bit more if you have a screaming child on your flight. Maybe you arent so willing to strangle people either.

The exterior of the bottle came full of leftover glue from stickers.
It's a nice for a gift, however the syrup bottle came full of leftover glue. It seems that the bottle had a bunch of stickers. Now I have to deep it in hot water and rub it with a damp alcohol towel to remove the excess glue before gifting it... More work.
