It was easy to install. Very easy to use. I chose to spend a little more money to have the unit fit and look more inconspicuous. The seat fits perfectly and there are no removable parts. You don't have to pick up a hand sprayer to do the job. The sprayer is built into the unit and works great. I would purchase again. I would recommend to a friend.

Hands down best purchase ever. Not just the fact that using the bidet is so much better for cleanliness, but this seat was an awesome price, offers a lot of features you'd find on more expensive units, and the seat is far better quality than what came with the toilet. New toilet had a slow close seat and lid but it was kinda thin; but the seat and lid on the Brondell Swash is so thick and solid, it feels heavy duty! Way better than the toilet manufacturer's flimsy seat. Fit perfectly on a new American Standard round bowl. Installation was so easy; no tools needed (except to unscrew the existing water line connection at the wall). One hint: When installing the hot water line, you need to "back twist" the clear tubing line to screw it on to the unit. The compression fittings don't rotate so when you are trying to screw on to the attachment point, the line will undo what you just twisted on. Twist it a few turns before the final attachment. Came with teflon tape but it wasn't needed - no leaks.

I'm pleasantly surprised with the bidet/seat. It really gets you clean and I will always have one of these from now on! So getting one of these is an absolute no brainer, just do it. The bigger question is: do you need the hot water feature or not? I had originally wanted to get a powered full featured seat, but as I researched, I thought a non-powered one would be fine, and this one has a hot water hookup which was really the only feature I cared about on the fancy electric ones. There are a bunch of competitors in the non-powered bidet space, and a lot of them are cheaper than this one, but I really wanted the hot water feature so settled on this one. In hindsight, living in Florida, the water is actually not that freezing cold out of the tap, and after a few test runs, I've found standard cold water feels pretty good, so a standard "cold" tap water unit would probably have been ok. If I had it to do over again, I'd have saved the install hassle of the hot water and just got a single water source unit. Not that it was difficult at all to install the hot water, maybe took 10 extra minutes; it took me more time to get my drill and find the right bit to make a hole for the plastic tube that's included for the hot water feed. In order to get hot water, you really need to run the sink's hot water for a few minutes for it to get hot (the seat taps off the hot water coming to the sink), so I've found myself not even wanting to wait for the hot water sometimes, and the cold has been just fine. That said, when I do have the water hot at the sink and use the bidet, the hot water is really nice. You can adjust the mixture of hot to cold to get a comfortable temperature. In addition, you can also use this seat without the hot water tap, it comes with a plug for the hot water tap that disables it, but if you know you don't want hot water, it makes no sense to buy this one and cap off the hot water tap, just buy one without the hot water feature. Install is simple, just be sure to tighten up all the joints properly, I had to re-tighten a few times gently to get them 100% water tight (better to under tighten at first so as not to damage the fittings). As to comments about the seat opening diameter, it is narrower than a standard seat, but really it's not a big deal at all, it's a very comfortable seat with plenty of clearance for an average size person to do their business. So why 4 stars and not 5? The plastic fittings that are used for plumbing off the seat seem cheap and I wonder as to their long term durability. The plastic tubing for the hot water also does not seem all that durable as to last for many years. Other than that, it's a really nice seat, and even if you don't get this one, you'll love having a bidet in the house and these non-powered seats are simply the easiest way to go.

This is my second Bidet. I bought my first during covid and spent 3-4 x what this cost. It was used for 3 years and was just ok. after about a year, the water wands were coming out at all different distance until you had to physically pull the wand out for use. It was big and bulky. Now, I hook this one up in about 10 minutes. It's simple to use, almost the same size as o regular toilet seat, works flawlessly, hot or cold and is a breeze to clean up. I am going to buy a second one soon. Hooked this up in October 2025. I will give another review at 18 months. But, for the money,if it lasts 2 years I will be happy. This saves almost double the cost of TP in the first year alone. Worth every penny and then some.

Love the bidet. One piece, easy to install. Could run hot water to it by running line from bathroom sink in crawl space coming up under stool and attaching line.

Have used it for over two weeks now and have to say I wish I had bought one earlier in life. A bidet that is. I'm still going to wait for a couple years to say whether this particular brand and model is five star. Right now I have no reason not to think it will be worth the money. Seems well built, designed and functions at a five star level and hasn't been a problem. I will say from a personal perspective I'm glad I bought one that has a hot water feature. This one taps off another hot water supply like my adjacent bathroom sink. Other available features like the air dryer, night light, heated seat would not be something I would be interested in but the hot water feature is a must in my opinion. Edit::: I"m a male. and also a paraplegic.If you are a para and deal with daily mess of the bowl disfunction, this product is a must have. After 30 years doing without it I wish I had made the move years ago. Additional issue: Having this in use for a few months now I've noticed you need to pay attention to the shut off position of the big knob. If it isn't lined up perfectly it will drip water and you won't really notice it. So, after you're done take a moment to look at the spout and turn the big knob slightly if it is dripping.

I tried several different options on these unusual toilet bowls that exist in my new house. They are made by Crane, but have a design feature I've never seen before: The rim inside the bowl extends down 3" to conceal all the water jets which push water into the bowl. This hides the rust that seems to result in nearly every toilet bowl I've ever seen - so I do like the concept. HOWEVER, it creates a problem for those less-costly add-on bidets that install beneath the seat ring. The bidet wands that are supposed to project outward during use will hit that rim wall - at least one, if not both, will be blocked from extending. After trying two of those from two separate manufacturers - resulting in the same problem - and, worse, yet, raising the existing seat ring so high as to be a real problem - I was about ready to give up. What to do? Then I saw an ad for a complete bidet seat that did NOT cost $300+. Hmmm. That might be the perfect solution, so long as the shape (elongated) fit the bowl - and the opening of the seat ring was not too small. THAT is a problem reported by users concerning several of these full seat designs. I did my research and found the Brondell Swash Ecoseat. Amazon had two versions - one for adding the hot water supply line, and without. I knew from experience I do not need electric heated "everything". And, in fact, one bath in my house is near the sink area - another is in its own separate cubby. So I bought matching models, but one without the hot water supply line. Both were packed very well. Both installed without a hitch. Both had zero leaks when finished (I did have to buy two short flexible braided toilet supply lines, as suggested in the instructions). And I took a clue off a previous review posted here and wrapped the seats with clear cling wrap to test the jets (Brilliant Idea!!). They work flawlessly. They look great. And both the seat ring and lid have a soft-close feature that I did not have before. I must say - I'm very happy!! Problems solved!! I will no longer be battling with people at local stores over the few remaining rolls of TP - it's amazing the USA cannot produce enough in times of crisis. Just baffling... As a side note, after testing these, I can report they do a great and thorough cleaning job. I know it sounds silly, but we're all grownups here... right?

Product over all is good although I just received it and at this point it is not fully tested. There are major complications in installing the product, the flimsy vinyl hose supplied for the hot water line connection is basically trash. The poorly designed plastic fitting for the hot water supply just cannot handle or secure the water pressure, easily comes off the connection point spraying water all over your bathroom floor. You will need to consult a plumber, or additionally you will have to purchase the proper compression pressure hose connector for the hot water line. The seat itself is very difficult to install with the plastic bolts that are supplied to install, it will be an adventure for you to install. Their customer support is worthless when calling for proper information they just inform you to watch the instruction video.

Has US plumbing fittings NOT UK. Contacted seller to ask for UK kit, was sent link for Brondell and they don't have UK kit either. So you will need US to UK adapters to be able to plumb in UK.

Make sure the t valves are 1/2 x 1/2 x 1/4 inch as the provided valves didn't fit the 1/2 inch pipes

Easy to install, a little bit thick for my likened as it shifted my feet up which change my pooping posture. The design is simple clean. Since i got it i have used it 6 times up to this review and each time my browns doors are clean. I did not bother hook up the hot water I PUT THE END CAP ON IT TIGHTEN IT UP TO CAP OF THE HOT WATER INPUT. JUST get it your brown hole will thank you.
