Let me say I LOVE THIS CHAIR. it's so comfortable for sitting, gaming & lounging. It's a 2-human build because the back is really tall & sturdy & a bit cumbersome to hold in place whilst installing. But that means I feel very supported whether sitting or reclining.The wheels are good, the seat is so comfortable & thick. The support pillows are adjustable so they're perfect where you need them. The massage is vibration, which sometimes is what you want. It's a little loud, but so is my tiny dog so I usually have noise cancelling on my headphones so it's not an issue for me.As for the customer service, I am very pleased. There was a delivery fiasco, courtesy of the carrier & in no way the fault of Dowinx. They were with me the entire time, responsive to my cries for help & treated my frustrations with empathy & professionalism. Upon delivery, I took pics of the box & hoped for the best. After about a week the pneumatic lift began to fail so I reached out to Dowinx and the immediately & graciously sent out a new part. Once that arrives I'll update this review.I am 100% happy with Dowinx, their support, and my chair. I've been dreaming of recreating a his/hers office with my side pink & his side black and this chair is major component. Gamer to gamer: I can sit here all day & the chair is comfy the whole time.

When I found this chair the old reviews were so bad. I was nervous ordering it. Most reviews were bad and a few reviews were good but I took my chances ordering it in hopes that they improved the chair quality by now. My husband put the chair together and he did not have a hard time putting it together. It came together just fine. It’s very comfortable and I love the features it has, more so the cervical spine support and lumbar spine support with pillows. Not only do I love how beautiful it looks in my office but it’s an investment worth my health. The leg rest is what I needed, to avoid the bad habit of folding my legs back under the base of my old office chair because that would slow down my blood circulation and cause pain and swelling in my legs and feet by the end of my work day. I love that the back part of the chair adjusts upright, allowing me to sit straight and against my chair and pillows, unlike my old chair that did not support my back. I can adjust and lift the seat up high off the ground. I am 5 feet tall and I can barley reach the floor and I can’t reach the bottom of the base of the chair which will break my bad habit of folding my legs back under the chair. At this height level my legs hang straight downwards allowing me to avoid pulling my legs back behind the base of my chair. The cushion on the chair is very comfortable and firm. So over all I am so happy and comfortable with the chair. I love the cushion in the arm rest as well. I hope it lasts me while and I am looking forward to feeling better at the end of my work day. I can’t wait to recline the chair back and feel relaxed at the end of my work day. I will try to remember to come back in a few months to leave another updated review on the quality and update you all on how it’s holding up by then. I appreciated all the reviews that I read when it was my turn to purchase so I also had to leave a review for those looking into purchasing this chair.

After weeks of searching for a chair to support my wifes back needs, she came across Dowinx Gaming Chairs, after some browsing I decided to email the company asking if they had something that was affordable (not a $1400 ergo chair that wasn't intended for long period sitting sessions) and could offer my wife some back support as well as leg support. To my surprise and happiness they responded within 5 hours (on a Sunday mind you at 2:00 am) with a response and by 7:00 am that same morning their whole team had given us a response. That response was quite surprising as I work in the manufacturing business and I understand that weekend hours are usually ran via skeleton crews (not much support from the design, and qa staff) but none the less I had a response.I explained my wifes conditions;Spinal cord damage from trauma injuryDegenerative joint diseaseDegenerative disc diseaseDegenerative bone diseaseFailed spinal fusion (L4, L5, L5S1)Arthritis of the spineAlong with this is her needs;Long depth from back to front (for seat cushion) Memory foam (which this seat listed it had)Adjustable seat HeightAbility to adjust the seat cushion to raise her knees (the foot rest the chair came with is for that purpose)Good support in the seat cushion (again memory foam)Back and head support (lower lumbar pillow and head pillow)This chair seemed to have it all and at a stellar price compared to the "ergo chairs"So Dowinx advised us to purchase via amazon if we had prime (we do) because they didn't want my wife to have any delays in receiving this chair so that she can enjoy parts of her life again such as crafting (scrap booking, photography development) gaming.Delivery:The delivery company failed to meet the ship target date, but that is not Downix fault, so this does not affect the review. However the chair arrive 2 days later then scheduled, and I assembled the chair for my wife. The assembly was super easy, so easy that my 30 month old toddler was able to help (he held the arm rest in place for what little attention span toddlers have and viola the armrests were installed) The entire assembly was that easy, Downix supplied all tools and parts and we even received an extra components parts in the event that my toddler does what toddlers do and take a piece and runs with it.The performance of the chair:The moment we have been waiting for! My wife sits in the chair and is immediately in love with the depth and length of the seat cushion as well as the memory foam. The lumbar pillow with massager is perfect for the days where the pain is almost unmanageable (that's with taking all the pain meds that she is prescribed).Conclusion:My wife is able to sit for longer than 30 minutes now (in her Dowinx gaming chair) thanks to the carefully designed chair by Dowinx.If you have back issues and need a chair that offers the support that is similarly listed here for a competitive price, choose dowinx, great support staff, amazing response time, and they care about your satisfaction.

I have had this chair for approximately a year now and today it broke at the base. I am dinging the stars on support because it dropped me harder than a noobs k/d. :( I am hoping there is a way the seller can contact me to get a replacement part for the wheels as I am unable to find the contact information at the moment.As far as the gaming part, it wasn't a bad chair. I didn't use the footstool feature because when I would lean back it felt like I was going to tip over.The back massager was ok. It was more of a vibration and the cord was not long enough to reach an outlet while gaming. The cord would also be in the way, so, I just disconnected it and used the pillow for a little bit of support to sit properly. I don't remember the assembly being too difficult, but I did have help.Overall, not a bad chair, it has some things that personally didn't work out, but I am disappointed at the cost to have it break within a year. I am willing to change my review to reflect the customer service experience after this.March 2021 Updated review: After finding the contact information on their Amazon page, I was able to contact Dowinx US through the Amazon Marketplace. After established communication, a few pictures of the break, and information exchanged they sent the replacement piece without any additional charge. That was pretty fantastic for me to hear. The tracking information took some time to get to me, but they kept an open line of communication and kept me updated whenever I asked questions. The shipping took some time about a month, but I can not complain too much on this as it wasn't costing me anything. I now have a fully functional chair again, hooray! I am bumping the review to 4 stars as the chair did still break, however, the customer service was helpful and friendly.

I bought this because of other reviews, one in particular of a person with chronic back pain, saying it was comfortable. They were RIGHT. I'm pretty happy with it and would buy it again for sure, even running the risk of getting the odd bad egg. Shipping came faster than expected and was boxed well. The quality of the plastic and assembly is to be expected for its price. When assembling, some things were a hair off here or there but I was able to assemble it without much trouble. For instance, you can see in the photo where the back rest meets the seat,, the back rest is slightly crooked. Overall though it didn't cause any problems and it looks nice, the padding and pleather material are nicer than I had expected. The white part cleans up well with a magic eraser and after months of use I don't have any seams coming loose or anything.I also want to point out a few other things; the padded arm rests are great, as opposed to the hard plastic ones on some other chairs. The side bolsters on the seat of the chair aren't super narrow like my husband's chair. For reference, I'm 6ft, 200lbs and my hips are wide. I feel cradled but not pinched. The padding on the seat holds up to at least 4 to 6 hours of gaming at a time, at least. The foam is stiff enough to keep from getting squished flat, and that goes for the lumbar pillow too, I've never felt the massage mechanism through the padding.The only things I don't love are how difficult it is to get the foot rest out (though I suppose the excessive resistance keeps it from moving when in use) and everything loosens over a few months of use so I'd recommend loctite or glue on the screws. But for the cost, I'm not going to fault the chair for that.
