To protect my forearm from a 1 year old Laborador jumping up on me when I get home. This glove works like a charm , it's very well made and durable. My pup quiets down after a minute or so but not before my arm (many times) takes a beating. I'll also use these gloves to carry wood for the fireplace in the winter.

I use these when I have new rats that are bitey or ones that freak out when picked up. They’re not going to stop the crushing damage of course, but they’re great for keeping claws off of you and preventing open bite marks! A little unwieldy, you can’t be very precise with them on, but I’m not sure how else you would get such good protection without the thickness.

Use these to handle feral cats. High quality. Protect against normal cat bites, larger cats can pierce but these are much better than normal gloves in that regard. The only drawback is they are not offered in different sizes.

This glove is everything I could ask for durable and comfortable enough to handle my tegus. Not sure on the heat resistance because I’ve yet to test it. Have 1 tegu who’s extremely aggressive and lives to bite. He grabs the glove and I don’t feel his teeth, what I do feel is the pinch of him biting down but no pain or skin breakage. Amazing buy so satisfied.

Not bite proof

Gloves are good but they feel more like heat resistant only gloves not the best for animals! I would prob but stronger ones for dog rescuing

I used these to get my skittish cat into a carrier to go to the vet and they worked perfectly. Her bites didn’t go through them.

These gloves started falling apart at the stitching with in minutes of dog training. The gloves can not hold up to the pressure or pulling of a dog during training. They are clearly Welding gloves designed to protect against heat and burn. They are not strong enough to protect against dog bites and can not hold up to the dog pulling as the stitching comes apart. I find that these gloves Do Not hold up to the description the listing offers them as. They are Not dog training gloves... They are welding gloves. Admittedly they will work just fine for small animals... But, Can not hold up to the pressure or pulling of a medium to large dog. Not only can you feel the pressure of the bite... Once the dog Pulls the stitching comes apart and the gloves fall apart with in minutes of use. Not Recommended for medium to large animals. (Small animals only)
