Can these be used on glass?

No, they are not able to use on glass surface unless you may cut the shanks and use glue to stick them on glass

how big is the diameter of the head ? is 7/16 the diameter of head wouldnt these be very small? can someone post a pic of these on furniture

Yes they are small--I was looking for nails the size of dimes. I would say they are about the size of a large English pea, perhaps a wee bigger. I will say they were delivered promptly as promised.I found the size I wanted was 3/4 inch.
